Bang! Bang! Oh what a shot from Curry! With 6 10ths of a second remaining!

not only was that game absolutely incredible basketball from both teams, but i'll never forget where i was when i saw that shot. those 2016 GSW/OKC games were just so good

This is a great question and an impossible choice. I read through the whole thread and kept saying, "Yeah, that one..."

It's hard not to go with any of the games that finishes off a championship -- most recently, Steph being aces down the stretch and then the outpouring of emotion. But if we don't go there, all the ones you named in the article are memorable. Maybe for the schadenfreude of it all, the 2019 WCF game 6 against the Rockets. With no Durant, Curry was scoreless in the first half, then broke out for 33 in the 2nd half and broke their hearts again.

But that 2018 playoff game against Houston where the Rockets missed 27 straight three-pointers was also classic.

In the regular season, it's the Bang-Bang game. It felt like a playoff game, and Curry had to leave the game with an injury. He came back on the bad wheel to throw the ultimate haymaker, a shot so memorable that its call is also iconic.

Bang! Bang! tops my list - I was up in Napa Valley celebrating a big birthday that weekend, so it was my birthday present that year. So memorable.

But a close second for me is game 3 of the 2015 first round playoff series vs. New Orleans.

17 down with under six minutes to go, then the amazing finish: that slam by Livingston! That slam by Bogut! 3 point play by Draymond! Curry's miss from just inside the 3 point line - the miss that ended up saving the game for them! That rebound by Mo Speights, OMG, followed by the assist to Curry for the 3 pointer from the corner over Street Clothes. The uncalled foul! The win in OT!

Great memories from when the Dubs could actually win games in overtime.

After a messy week I could read only this morning the thread of the names, great idea and thank You Eric: I found out, after 25 years, mine is a bad translation!

Fabbro Ferruccio is the Italian translation of Richard Scarry’s character, the fox, and my husband gave to me this nickname when I started working in foundry: it means the smith Ferruccio.

Today, when I looked for the original name, I discovered that is “Mr. Fixit”.

In Italian the right translation would be “ Mr. Aggiusta tutto “, definitely it wouldn’t fit to me…

I’m still laughing 😆

The shortest guy won the dunk contest. Now that he’s with the Sixers, McClung will be sharing rebounding duties with Embid.

I loved Trey Murphy’s dunk! I didn’t recognize Alvarado and it fooled me.

Watching the All Star three point contest. How did Tyler Herro get picked? Also, Draymond is part of the announcers, along with Reggie Miller. Steph would have been the more appropriate person but Draymond is part of the TNT family.

I want Dame or Hali, but Lauri would be cool.

BANG, BANG. Regular season, Dubs at OKC OT win 121 - 118 with Steph bombing in a 32 footer with 0.6 seconds left.

This was part of the 73-win season, and OKC was really good. But there was so much joy with this win; Steph casually bombing in the 32 footer (his #12 of the game). Almost like, "yeah, that was fun, but we are ready to go home....."

The other options were also excellent, but this whole season was really great.

Before I even read your list, "2015 WCF OKC Game 6" was the one that came to mind. And there had to have been a game or two in the MEM series during that first title run. Both series felt like we were completely over matched physically but we found ways to win.

EDIT: That OKC game is also why my dog is suspicious of us when we watch NBA games on TV. Because we were yelling and slamming the couch in excitement forgetting that our little dog was right there. She gave us a "wtf" look and ran to the other room. She'll never stay in the same room when a game is on now.
