Tragic injuries may have stuck a fork in this series before it even really got off the ground. But short-handed Heat aren't giving up.
Just noticing Kyrie’s view of the world and game winning shots. His view of the coaching structure on the Nets is very interesting, but his view on game winning/crunchtime shots seems to be very much aligned with Durant’s. That view seemed to be that in Durant’s mind only he or Steph should be shooting key shots. And that view instantly transformed the Warriors from one of the greatest clutch 4th quarter teams ever (over a 2 year span) to one of the greatest 3rd quarter teams with Durant.
Nash’s Suns operated alot more like the pre-Durant Warriors with all kinds of guys able to win games for them. Will the Warriors go back to being 4th quarter monsters with a whole roster ready to win close games, or will only the vets who have “been there before” get key shots?
The answer to that question might determine the Warriors fate over the next few years.
My husband and I moped around all day yesterday. I trust the Heat to come out fighting though.
I presume Mrs. Dubs’ full name is “Ruby Dub Dubs”?
