Welp, this post-surgery infection on my arm got serious enough that I had to push a flight to the mainland from Thursday to today and welp, it’s taking off exactly at tip-off and welp, there’s no internet/live TV when flying over the vast Pacific Ocean, so welp, I’m going to miss the game.
Edit: Thanks for the repeated good wishes y’all and go Warriors!
Playoffs bring predictions, and it reminded me of a fleeting idea I had a couple of weeks ago. If it doesn't already exist, someone could make some money with a prediction-tracker website. It would show predictions by commentators and outcomes, with a running score. I understand that it's an entertainment business and that it wouldn't be much fun if someone said "Nets-Celtics? I'm not sure. I have no crystal ball. It makes more sense to watch the game and then be confident of the outcome." Still, it does tend to drive me nuts when a so-called expert can be dead wrong in public with great flair and hostility to the opposing viewpoint, and then not even be held to playful accountability. If anyone wants a bold prediction from me, feel free to beg in the thread and I'll try to think of something.
Still, the problem is to find a network that broadcasts the game. Which may be it (NBA is doing global wide blackout, although it’s logical to limit it to US/CA)?
Wonder what Batum does in free agency. I assume he'll try to stick with the Clippers now that Kawhi is coming back since he wanted to stick with them this season even though it was likely Kawhi wouldn't be back. And money is no object to Ballmer so he can basically pay Batum (or Covington) whatever. But it'd be nice if he left them so they could be a bit less loaded.
Poole and Wristy McWristband were the #1 Shaqtin A Fool, but I still don’t understand how that wasn’t a foul, or at least a stoppage of play. I guess you can pull an opponents pants down and give him a wedgie too?
Also, Wiggins fumbling the ball away right under the basket was a finalist.
Props to the plucky Pels, but I can’t see them taking even a game off the Suns. They play hideous offense, and their defense is nothing special outside of Herb Jones.
Was mildly rooting for the Clips cos I thought they’d give Phoenix a better fight, but then I saw Steve Ballmer and was like, “actually, another inexcusable Clips playoff collapse would be fun, too…”
I agree but maybe now Hartenstein will decide that it's not in his interest to stay with a team that only played him 5 minutes tonight and come to the Warriors...alright yeah that's not happening, I dunno. At least we didn't get the scenario where Kawhi came back all better and all of a sudden the Clippers beat the Warriors in the WCF?
Yeah I assume that will happen next season if the Clippers are healthy and Wiseman is on the Warrior roster (my proxy for standing pat). They figure to be loaded.
For sure, but I think they've even had it worse than us, if such a thing is possible. At least over this season and the last - let's just forget about 2019-2020.
Right. There’s an interesting question: whether it is more detrimental to have the two main players out for a long period of time or have several players out intermittently, yet consecutively, over the same time.? If records tell the story, then it is worse to have the two main stars out for a long period of time together. But the Warriors and the Clippers have very different histories of the longevity of stars playing together, the longevity of coaching, etc. so hard to propose what is most damaging to a team.
Well, I'd rather be in the Warriors' shoes right now than the Clippers - although that's easy to say the night that the Clips get bounced out of the playoffs.

Prediction: Warriors in 5
Nbafullhd, no commentators and no ads, but does not cast.
Flights do show live TV nowadays. So, there is a real chance you can watch it. The signal will likely suck but better than nothing.
And, get better!
Over the middle of the Pacific, though…and thanks!
DirectTv works on airplanes as it is a satellite based system
But how would I receive it if the airline doesn’t provide internet (other than for their own entertainment package)?
Download the airline app beforehand. The flight will have instructions to watch TV on your phone most likely.
It's the plane that gets the signal for you.
Select entrainment is usually free.
When I flew back from DC there was a basketball game playing on the monitors. Maybe you have a choice or can ask them?
Welp. That sucks. Do you expect to be available for the championship-clinching game?

I think TNT doing the post it notes was a good idea. It makes them a little more accountable.
IT’S GAME DAY!!!!! Love y’all for loving the Warriors like I do!
Out of the four 7,8 vs 9,10 play in games to date, the lower seeded team has won 3. That's 75%!
Clearly it's better to be a 9 seed than an 8 seed :D.
We'll see what the 1 seeds have to say about all this :)
Pelicans Vs Hawks in the finals. Book it!
You could definitely get good odds from Vegas ...
Hi guys,
Can somebody help how to watch the games live from Europe?
My NBA paid account is subject to blackout restrictions (3 hours delay :))
Let’s go!
Sports urge dot net has links to a various streams that may/may not be legal
10x! It’s funny, but seems to not have paid option to get live games :)
They’re all live streams
I’ll send you a website. What’s your email?
bate_blago@abv.bg
If you have malicious intend, do not worry, it’s a typical SPAM trap mailbox :)
Just sent you an email :)
Thank you, DrumRoll!
Got you message, let’s get a midnight rock (3:30am starting time in Bulgaria :D)
For the win!
Lettttttssssss goooooo!!!
Lmao no malicious intent!
Vpn ?
Still, the problem is to find a network that broadcasts the game. Which may be it (NBA is doing global wide blackout, although it’s logical to limit it to US/CA)?
True. I'm using league pass. I'm a fan of VPNs period for whenever on public wifi so don't consider it an extra BB expense. :)
Do you have access to the game though league pass (NBA one).
I do not :)
More precisely - with 3 hours delay…
Will make impression for this forum, reloading the thread for score :)
Yes, have mavs/jazz live right now with VPN set in UK (I am in Canada). But heading out so will miss a bunch of it.
Looney says “Jordan has been asking questions about the playoffs since his rookie year.”

I think the foul should’ve been called on Wristy for tripping Jordan Poole.
...Ty Lues a great coach
Another L where Ty Lue gets fawned over, how does this guy do it?
Lol I just wanted to get a reaction out of you
He’s backed by LBJ
If PG had played, Clippers would probably have won.
Happy for former GSW assistants Willie Green and Jarron Collins.
Also, Pels played 3 rookies a combined 75 minutes!
Adding a reasonably-healthy Zion to this mix would give Phoenix and handful.
Plus the Pelicans are going to get the #8 pick in this years draft from the Lakers
Props to the plucky Pels, but I can’t see them taking even a game off the Suns. They play hideous offense, and their defense is nothing special outside of Herb Jones.

That scenario could easily happen next year…

Both games tonight had both lower seeds win.
I hope our players are being vigilant about staying COVID free.
Play-in basketball is really, really fun.
Way more fun when our team is resting and getting ready for their previously attained playoff spot.
What a bad break for the Clips to lose PG when it mattered most. Except for 1 quarter the Pels definitely looked better.
The last few seasons of Clippers basketball has just been one bad break after another.
Sound familiar?

Agree.
