Okay I'm closing the voting. It was insanely close, coming down to a difference of a single Twitter vote, and Haliburton has pulled it out! Great comments, folks. Really well-considered decision-making. We all have incomplete information, but your thoughtful notes have overall expanded my thinking about drafting, evaluation, and The Future of GSW.
I'll go Haliburton :D in a lot of ways he's the polar opposite of Wiseman -- Tyrese has everything except elite athleticism, and Wiseman has nothing but. Tyrese has the height to play combo guard, length, high IQ defense, solid handle, playmaking, shooting... Wiseman is 7'1 w/ a 7'6" wingspan. Tyrese has a way higher floor, and (call me crazy) a similar ceiling.
Gotta go Haliburton. Mostly because I’m worried Wiseman could be another Damian Jones. Decent player, but not worth a top 5 pick. I could be wrong though. Still going with Haliburton.
Wiseman. Defensive rim protection potential. Lobs from Steph would be insane - bring down the house - break the backboard-type plays. Love Halliburton for leadership, passing, and backup guard play at both spots. But that shot is so ugly. Reminds me of S Marion. If it ends up being as effective as Marion I’ll be eating those words. Main thing is Wiseman has more defensive potential. Defense defense defense.
Halliburton. This one is easy for me, Halliburton fills the vacancy left by Shaun Livingston's retirement, and Wiseman ... might or might not be good because he is 7 ft and athletic.
With the surge in support for Wiseman here at LGW, Wiseman now leads the weighted polling by 56% - 44%. To win, Haliburton would have to make up a margin about 4 LGW comment votes, assuming Twitter holds steady. Vote ends early tomorrow!
Halliburton's ball handling skills are very good, but if his comparison is to Lonzo, why not go for Ball in the draft? Halli's got no D, sort of like the young Curry, but he can't shoot like Curry. No way for Halliburton. Wiseman, otoh, is a monster without doing a thing. Rim running, blocker, finisher, all in a big man. He does need work on his shooting and will not space the floor. No biggie. Dubs have plenty of shooters. Wiseman is unique. He's a project that will help right away.
I, too would like to see a Wiseman/Okongwu matchup. At this point, I might favor Okongwu, but for this matchup of Halliburton, Wiseman is clearly the more valuable asset for me.
Would've said Haliburton, but thinking would be good to potentially see Okongwu vs. Wiseman in the next round. I'm also coming around to Wiseman. Doesn't seem as bad as I originally thought of him. Wiseman for me!
What's interesting to me is that when my personal Twitter followers are polled, Haliburton leads, but when I retweet out to the bigger LGW twitter account, there's MASSIVE support for Wiseman. Combined with LGW, and Haliburton has a very slim lead at 52.4%.

Tyrese. The Warriors need a ready now player, not a prospect who hasn't proven much.

The poll is getting closer, but Wiseman holding on to a 52.5%-47.5% lead. Equivalent of 2 LGW comment vote margin.

Halliburton for me. Perfect fit for the roster. They can get a C in other ways.
