ESPN suggests best fit for LaMarcus Aldridge is at Golden State;

“Best fit this upcoming season: Golden State. Aldridge in the Bay Area is a "break glass in case of emergency" situation. Kevon Looney started all 82 games, but his backup, James Wiseman, missed the entire season with a knee injury. Wiseman has been cleared to practice, but there will be a glaring lack of size if the former No. 2 pick suffers a setback. Because of the Warriors' luxury tax situation, signing a player such as Aldridge would cost them close to $12 million. -- Marks”

Ummm.

@KellanOlson

Deandre Ayton was asked how he and Monty Williams have moved on and Ayton said he hasn’t talked to Williams “at all ever since the game.”

I noted this last year as something to keep an eye on. The Warriors overly cautious uber-conservative silk glove treatment of Wiseman and his recovery from knee injury vs. Boston's devil-may-care, who is the next Isaiah Thomas, if you can stand up you can play, treatment of Robert Williams and his knee injury. I love the Time Lord and I would hate to think Boston's history of player abuse will have an adverse effect on his career. Williams shined in the playoffs when he was able. But was it worth it? In the meantime, sounds like Wiseman is playing free. Anywho, I will be keeping my eye on these two in the future and hope that both remain healthy, despite the wildly different medical paths they took.

Future Fitz-isms:

1. When DDV locks up a player and gets a couple of steals:

"Welcome to Donte's Inferno!"

2. When Rollins is inserted at PG:

"Kerr inserts Rollins to make sure the railroad stays on time."

Being a Suns fan must be hard. Even in their recent winning seasons they got their hearts ripped out of their chest and now that franchise is burning down as I'm typing this.

Hello friends! Thought I'd check in and see if this place was gearing up for the season but from the looks of it, many of you did not have an off season. Y'all are a chatty! Can't wait to see Curry and the gang play some basketball!

Jason Timpf talks about Warriors media day. Three big topics were Giannis and Steph talk of each other and who’s the best, GSW’s continuity being a huge advantage on/off the court and contract negotiations. (JT speculates Dray might be the to go if they can’t keep ‘em all.) https://youtu.be/ttJqSy0In-o

So, we're ~8m out from Ball's meniscus injury, and he's gonna need another surgery because he still can't even run or jump. Wiseman had it way better than this... I'd also like to point out that Ball is a much smaller dude. Meniscus injuries suck and recovery can be super variable, regardless of a players' size.

I saw people elsewhere online commenting about PBJ’s shooting clip that his dip is too low. Is that something he (and we) should be concerned about? He’s 6’9”, so it doesn’t seem like getting his shot off is going to be an issue.

Man, I was excited about DDV when he signed, but I just keep getting more excited every time I see or read something about him and Iggy’s glowing comments were the latest. Athletic, smart, can make plays and plays hard on both sides of the ball. As far as I can tell, there are literally no holes in his game and he seems like a guy you can insert in any situation and not worry about him.

I know we’re going to fall in love and our hearts are going to be broken when he opts out after the season, but right now I’m in full denial and convincing myself he’ll be so happy that he decides to stay.

In case you missed it, Andre talking about DDV starts at 16:30 https://youtu.be/CmoH4RTwD0Y

Sushi in Japan was $$expensive$$ when I went to Japan all the way back in '92. I expect that won't be a concern for an NBA player :rofl:

We are so lucky to have Klay. He's like the anti-celebrity. His interviews always just make him look like a chill dude. Like some guy you'd expect to be interviewed about scaffolding rather than about being one of the best basketball players in the world!

He just seems so comfortable in his own skin and content with life, while simultaneously being extremely competitive. Such an interesting mix.

I think it's not talked about enough how Steph, Dray, Klay and Andre's personalities compliment each other so well. This is one of the reasons they've been able to stay together so long and have success rather than the clashing of egos and personalities we see elsewhere. It really is a rarity not just in professional sports, but in the upper echelons of ANY profession.

Never change, Klay. Never change.
