OK. Watched the whole game. Not only did the announcers suck and push twisted narratives, but the refs were also terrible. But LBJ was really good. Even though I would have fouled him out for all his forearm push-offs, and given him a flagrant 1 for shoving Shaun Livingston in the back on Liv's drive to the hoop - that kind of thing can get someone injured. And of course, Delly's cheap hooking of Draymond's arm and pulling him to the floor (resulting in Delly getting his just desserts when his head smacked the floor). And JR Smith's football move into Draymond's set screen that Jackson and Van Gundy had to think twice about whether it was a regular or flagrant. Bull-shit like that: he should have been tossed.

All this and I'm not a homer.

Thanks for the rehash. I also forgot that Dre went 1-10 ft. I do, however, remember feeling very uneasy about his relationship with free throws. Probably stems mostly from this game now that I see that stat.

"I also forgot how much MJax, recently fired previous coach, talked up that Curry sucked this Finals, which is only true if you think getting double teamed on every play and getting your team great shots all over the court is sucking."

Yeah, MJ announcing this series was painful at times. And those types of plays by Curry are some of the reasons I love his game so much. "It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit." (Truman).

Steph declines the chance in post-game to trash talk Delly. “He’s doing his job, I’m doing mine.”

Good nght!

A fine win and a beautiful game from Steph, and big hustle from the rest of the team.

1.26. I forgot Steph tossed in that long 3 to ice the game. Previous play he dished to Dray when trapped, but LBJ read Dray’s kick out to the weak corner.

Wow I forgot Andre went 1-10 on FTs this game.

Andre missing a ton of free throws. Then LBJ unloads a huge 3 and immediately, James Jones plays hack-an-Andre.

So much is narrative. If you wanted to Klutch-slander Andre, you’d say you can’t give FMVP to someone who misses four straight FTs down the stretch.

Steph now with a sweet layup to push it to 7.

HO HO, Steph puts Delly in the blender, a big three to put them up 10.

Not clutch, since it’s not in the last 23 seconds.

4.34. Same D on LBJ., forcing him baseline, but trips.

Same D, Andre stays on him. LBJ goes inside, so analytical. Miss.

Steph draws two, Dray gets open corner 3 for Andre.

Next play, Steph steals it, gets Klay 3, miss, Andre with mega huge outback. Misses the FT and STEPH WITH THE OREB.

Klay pushes LBJ to baseline help from Dray. LBJ with nice angle pass to TT cut.

4.52. Steph draws two, gets Dray open drive for FTs. No stats for Steph.

6.04. Steph draws two on high HORNS, dish to short roll but Barnes and Green don’t agree who’s catching it.
