Call me crazy, but I'm actually most excited to see how Paschall thrives with Curry (and now...Wiggins?) soaking up more attention. Four games in October was no kind of sampling of what they can do together...if Curry's court vision and gravity help unlock Paschall's drives, and if Dray sits this one and gives the Wrecking Ball extra minutes, I'm hoping he explodes while the defense worries about Curry.
Also, aren't the Raptors dealing with injuries to key guys too? You are so right about us learning from how they did that; Raptors holding 2nd in the East without Kawhi is probably the biggest surprise of the season to me.
Duby since you predicted a loss in Denver and then we smashed them unexpectedly, even though you're thinking we might double down on a win now, I'm going to predict a loss for you in this one, in the hopes it actually leads to another triumphant win.
Winning at Denver ( # 3 seed team, a road game, and high altitude ) without help from Draymond or Looney before Steph returning was really good experience for these new players, especially for Wiggins so no outsider will underrate them like saying Dray is only good playing alongside Steph and Klay and blah blah blah. Now they all be ‘weaponized’ tremendously by playing with Steph.
By the way, I am wondering why Sleepy and Dino are quiet these days. Covid-19 makes me worry about everybody in our LGW family. Be well everybody.
Marquese Chriss's productivity has been down since Bowman and Draymond went out. Expect 8-10 pst more/game with improved spacing and a true point guard pushing pace.
I am really excited for this game. Steph brings so much joy that everyone's game is elevated. I hope Draymond is able to play too. Having him facilitating a wide open offense is something I have been craving for waaay too long.
His game has been spotty, but the last 3 games from him were all super solid. We could definitely use a stretch 5, so I'm glad they're taking a look at him with Steph out there as well
