WE 8-33 3pters for 24.3%

THEY 14-39 3pters for 35.9%

DIFFERENCE 6 X 3 = 18 points

Playing at HOME THE GAME WE CHANGED?

We had, outside of STEPH, ABSOLUTELY NO drop-dead 3pt shooters on the floor...used to compensate for a lot of TOs and mistakes...

The good thing is Jimmy did a great job of keeping us in the game. At least kept us in it long enough for Steph to potentially take over. That didn't happen but still

Our three losses have been absolutely disgusting during this otherwise lovely run: v. Jokic-less, Murray-less Nuggets, v. sorry-ass Sixers, v. post-Luka trade Mavericks. Sigh.

Fuck off, Westbrook.

If they beat the Bucks tomorrow this loss would still be acceptable, but now they have no margin for error.

Expand full comment

Not acceptable (by normal definition of acceptable) under any circumstances given the absences of Jokic, Murray, and Braun, imo.

The sequence by Moody at the end gave me a laugh at least.

What a waste of an opportunity. We were gifted with the absence of Jokic and Murray and what did we do? Terrible. This one will haunt us. If we can’t beat a shorthanded Denver team, what are our chances in the playoffs?

Best thing to do is forget about it and move on. Nuggets lost at home with a full roster to the Wizards the other night and then beat the Dubs on the road shorthanded. Earlier this evening, shorthanded Indiana beat the Wolves on the road while the anonymous Sixers went on the road and took the Rockets into OT. Dubs shot miserably tonight, turned the ball over a lot, and missed a ton of FTs and still had a chance to win.

A good winning performance against the Bucks tomorrow could soften tonight's blow a lot, and then it's on the road for five straight games against teams with losing records.

I mean we were 14-2, bound to lose one of these.

Man, I forgot Dario was on the Nuggets. Never even saw him on the bench.

Such an old, familiar, pre-Jimmy Butler feeling. Like you could have won it, you should have won it, you lost it, all is evil in this world.

Steph shooting was bad, but it was his TOs that really did us in. Sucks all the momentum

3pt shooting used to compensate for a grossly TO team...even during the DYNASTY...24% from the 3 ain't gonna do it these days, even without the gross TOs...there was only a 3pt difference in points off turnovers between the two teams, but an 18 pt difference off 3PTERS...3 KLAY 3s and we had a win....lol

Warriors made 1 more free throw than the nuggets. Too bad they shot 9 more attempts.

YUK...we just delivered a real sick, smelly, foul, egg....lol...what a lost opportunity disaster at HOME....

Needed our superstar to be at minimum mediocre instead of atrocious. Fuck.

Still some season left to play, but I'd say that loss was a good indicator that this team is just not as focused as it needs to be for a postseason run.

Did they have an early St. Patty's day party last night?

Play in incoming now - it might be a free fall after this shit show since Steph is going to now be out tomorrow

Expand full comment

I think we'll be in the playin. I looked at Minny's schedule, and they might have two losable games. Figure they lose some other rando. I can't see us getting through the rest of this season with only 3 losses.

LOL just 2-3 KLAY 3pters short...that's all...

Possibly right before the game
