Hard to really learn anything from a preseason game. But here's what I did learn. A few things:

*The Dubs are going to shoot a lot of 3PA. A lot of them. Top 9 guys had 50 FGA. 28 of them were 3PA. The guy who shot the most 2PA? That's right - Buddy.

*The Dubs actually had 84 FGA. 80 of them were either 3PAs or in the paint. Modern NBA basketball.

*The Dubs defense is going to be formidable. They showed some real signs of locking in even in a preseason game.

*I'm going to like Al Horford. OK, I didn't learn this, just reaffirmed it. Kerr is going to need to hold himself back, because he's going to want to play him a ton.

*Moody had a quick trigger on the 3P this year. Could be a really good sign.

*I missed Warriors basketball. Even in that ugly 4th quarter.

Also, nice to see Dray's finishing is in midseason form

Didn't get a chance to see Kuminga's reaction after making such a nice pass

Nice to see Moody aggressive out there looking for his shot. I also counted two times when he got his long arms out there near half court to deflect from the ball handler. He did use his left hand once tonight - to push off and get called for an offensive foul.

the thing about Spencer being a really good lacrosse player is that I would bet a lot of NBA players were really good at some other sports. Lacrosse is just unique and apparently he was superb. But how many guys played great in high school at something else, and could have gotten to low Spencer-like level in football, track, baseball?

You hear lacrosse ever time Spencer dribbles. Wouldn't it be fun to hear, "Now, Luka, a real soccer star in Serbia, passes to LeBron, LeBron a standout tight end in football, intercepted by Kuminga, could have been a decathlete, over to Steph, golfer, hits the three! Night night."

I sort of get your point, but I think this underestimates just how good Spencer was at lacrosse. Like he was in the conversation to be the GOAT college lacrosse player. If an NBA player was in that kind of conversation in another sport, I do think it would be mentioned.

Oh this guy qualified for the Olympic team. So and so was a finalist for the Heisman.

Don't forget Draymond, bare-knuckle prizefighter.

Really, we looked pretty good until we got to the 13th to 18th guys on the preseason roster. Nothing to complain about.

I actually liked JK's play. I was afraid he'd come in and start taking every shot. But, he played within himself, and made some nice plays (deflection, great bounce pass to Draymond in the key).

Jk looked extremely good and can really benefit warriors this year.

Yeah he's 39 years old but the benefit of being in the league for almost 2 decades is you've seen it all. Horford is such a natural fit for our system. Would have thought he has been here for years

He’s so so smart. The way he sees the game inspires much confidence. I love that this is the only team he would leave Boston for. Welcome to The Bay, Al!

More importantly JK looked more attentive off ball and was more willing to battle to do the little things. All I wanted to see

His shooting stroke looked better too… cleaner mechanically, at least to my eye.

He still needs to get serious about free throws.

Yeah clanking both FTs was annoying but I liked the way he went after rebounds (grabbed 6), and he passed the ball (4 dimes!) in situations where last year he would have hogged it. That's what I hoped to see. He even got a block. Overall a good effort from JK.
