I'm glad Steve is giving Moody a chance again, he at least plays with energy. I bet Kerr rolled his eyes at him trying to dunk on Plumlee. Though it probably should've been free throws, hopefully someone pointed out to him that's a dump off to Loon once Plumlee commits. He wanted that highlight, but with more experience he'll recognize when to go for it vs setting up a teammate.
We shall see if PBJ can get another opportunity post ASB.
Draymond Green asked about being champions and it taking a little while to get going: “I don’t think it’s a championship hangover. It’s a will to want to defend. And you’re not hungover at .500, 60 games into the season. You’re a loser if you’re still hungover at that point.”
So 9 days? No Warriors with any job related duties. Plenty of time to get some quality practice in. Dray and Loon can rest up, but the rest of the team hasn’t really played much so they might as well get to work.
That was a fun watch. It sucks watching Kawhi hit all the 3s. But shout out JP with 28 on 61 TS% and 6AST to 0TOV! I guess they counted that one where he got stripped and ball knocked off him as a block.
Played a pretty decent game for the most part. I missed the run that went from 90-89 to double digit deficit. Play by play looks like falling in love with threes and a couple TOs... the story of the season.
Anyway, if the effort and mindset were like today for most of the season, we'd be well above .500.
In case anyone is missing basketball already, dont forget Big Wise will be facing the Celtics at 4:00 pm tonight - hope he scores 40 points!

On the first day of All-Star Break my true love sent to me
A cartridge full of Steph threes
Two ancient but very well preserved mummies showed up at Crypt, and erased us from the history of the season :(
Made this chart of Warriors games above 0.500 for 3 seasons. I wonder how this one will end?

What's funny is that last year we were roughly 0.500 from game 30-78 -> almost 50 games.
Shout-out to JMG with 0 points, 3 fouls, 2 turnovers, 1 assist, and a -12. Could have really used him in his evolved form today.

Warriors are so perfectly mediocre:
Via Slater:
Warriors will enter the All-Star break with a profile very representative of their play this season.
-Record: 29-29
-Points scored: 6,878
-Points against: 6,873
-Offensive ranking: 14th
-Defensive ranking: 15th
-Seed: 9th
Ice cream of not really sadness has been consumed. See you on the other side of the All-Star break with a blank slate. Ready to go on a 26-0 run.

Honestly, the fact we hung right there with a full strength Clippers team I found to be very encouraging.
Nothing to hang our heads about ... we lost on the road to a championship contender without 2 of our top 3 players, and their best player on fire.
One two three Cancun!
