I missed this game...1st one this season....great win vs an upstart team that is playing out of its mind...the thing that I find disturbing is my discovering today NONE of our guys made the RISING STARS ROSTERS..a bit surprised....is it because of insufficient games/PT?...
Sweet win....yep, it is slowly happening...Splash with 66, this time, 64, last time....so great if we can somehow manage to keep it going...I tweeted this on 3 January....
''A matter of time before injuries heal and those away games and unfamiliar courts begin to produce familiar results/wins to complement @warriors @NBA-best, home record...''
As we quietly slipped into 5th place in the West, it appears the time may be NOW... Let's go WIN a couple of games...
That’s good old fashioned Warriors basketball. The first half was great. Push the pace win in the chaos.
Steph got the easy layup early when two guys stayed with Klay, and then Klay showed everyone why he’s scary after that.
Poole looked like a two way player.
The refs were on GS’s side/ not destroying the flow of the game to the massive detriment of the Warriors in the first half, and tried to even the game out before the end.
Wiggins looked super skinny but is starting to get some lateral movement back.
Just a quality team win that shows this team is truly starting to find itself. Kerr seems to have done it again.
Like most fans, I notice the mistakes that Poole makes. However, I notice a few other things, too.......
4th quarter scoring:
Poole is 2nd to Curry w/5 points.
4th quarter of wins, On The Road, Poole tied with Kuminga, 4.3points.
4th quarter of losses, On The Road, Poole & Klay shoot poorly, 3.2points.
On The Road Losses, Poole shoots better fg% than Klay.
On The Road Losses, Wiggins has worst +/-10.4.
On The Road Wins, Poole averages 25.9ppg. Klay has 2nd highest +/-.
We all remember Poole's shooting woes in his rookie year and his gleague rebuild. While he's not going to SC ever again, he does need to rebuild his 3 point shot. How does he do this is the coaches job. This is an area where he would benefit the team immensely throughout a game. Let's hope the staff understands this and works with him to accomplish this goal. He is our ticket to the future...............
Andrew is back!!!! We won a road game where our opponent didn’t shoot like trash!
JK got really frustrated with Shai’s shenanigans. He’ll get another crack at the guy next week, hopefully having learned a bit of a lesson. It was so nice to see Shai to get called for that hook on Andrew…
Now that GSW hit the 50 game milestone, things are heating up with only 32 regular season games left. Of those, 16 are away games. I think the Warriors feel a sense of urgency and the next 32 games will get intense. Looking forward to seeing this next stretch and watching Warriors get into WGBC mode.
The dubs are my team but I'm also a big 9ers fan and this weekend was ROUGH. this game was exactly what I need to shed the nfl and fully commit to the blue and gold until June. Let the stacking continue
Kind of surprising JMG was a DNP in this game. I guess they thought he couldn't keep up with OKC's players? Or just played small so much of the game another big wasn't needed?
I didn't even think of it until after I'd logged off.

Dubs 2 games over .500 for the third time this season; they've yet to get to 3 games over. Hoping for a big win in Minny on Wednesday.

Shai good, but #StephBetter
I'm just going to leave this here and walk away slowly:

Thompson: "I still think we have the magic in us to be the road Warriors (we used to be)."

Steve Kerr credits the Warriors' fast offensive start to tonight's win. It forced Oklahoma City to "swim upstream" for the rest of the game.
He also thought this was Andrew Wiggins' best game since his 15-game absence.

We can beat Minni. And Denver will sleep walk against our young guys and we will win (like Cleveland game).
So 3-0 road trip. Calling it now!!
SoL, what is your prediction for next few games.

Puzzling.
Warriors will be playing against the Thunder next week on 2/6 at home. Then they'll play against the Thunder on the road on 3/7 and at home on 4/4.
