This game and the Clipper game were both examples of games where the team's lack of athleticism hurt compared to last season's roster with Bazemore and Oubre imo. Kerr doesn't seem comfortable closing with OPJ or Bjelica against the fast, athletic smallball lineups that the Clippers and Grizzlies are able to employ. Perhaps OPJ regains more mobility as the season goes on, but chances are this is just who he is.

If Lee misses an extended amount of time with that shoulder, the so-called depth of the team will be tested very early. Seems like it would have made sense to have Mulder on a two-way spot instead of two point guards, but hopefully GP2 is up to the task.

I'm not very concerned about Steph shootin. We have 77 more games to go, and remember last year the startin pg in NBA finals was Chris Paul.... 36 and countin....

I know curry's turnovers are dumb, hes usually dribbled himself into a horrible position on the court, but Draymond turnovers are fucking ridiculous, literally just throwing the ball anywhere chasing assists it seems

Turnovers are the only story of the game for me. Yeah the Dubs didn't play well in the second half and yeah you gotta credit Memphis for some good defensive possessions but the Warriors shot better from the field and better from 3-point range and only shot 2 less free throws than the Grizz. Draymond and Steph each with 5 turnovers and Jordan with 6 is a back-breaker. 1-2 less needless, unforced giveaways and they win the game in regulation. This was a self-inflicted loss, not a case of getting beat by a better team. That's both kind of gross because it was a very winnable game but it feels better to know that the Dubs can and should still beat the Grizz going forward if they don't play so carelessly.

This year feels like it’s going to be a fun transitional year for the NBA. The old guard (epitomized by the Lakers, Clippers, Nets, Warriors, Trailblazers) are going to get out run fairly often by the younger well balanced teams like Memphis, Charlotte, Chicago, Washington. At the end of the season I still think the finals teams will be the old guard led ones, unless injuries are even worse than last year.

What gives me hope for the Warriors is that we actually have 3 lottery picks with promise that could be impactful real soon now (tm). If two of the three flame out - and we won’t really know for a few years - Myers and Co. will justifiably get the blame.

For the talk of the team needing Dray to score more, he's going inside and scoring more so far this year, but the 0.6 3ptA per36 is pretty glaring. Plus he's also at 35% from the Free Throw line, so it's like every aspect of his shooting has disappeared.

Then, Poole with the 22% 3pt% and the 4.4 tov per36......oof. Shot creator or not, getting the sense the starting lineup needs 3pt shooting and not-turnovers even more.....gotta feel like the Warriors are a couple games away from starting Damion.

Then, considering Poole's turnover rate and in preparation for Wiseman returning in a few weeks, they should probably start simplifying the 2nd unit offense now too.

Poole-DLee-Wiggins-OPJ-Bjelica 2nd unit to emphasize spacing, and run spread PnR/PnP and split cuts. Then Wiseman gets back and they plug in their athletic roll man in Bjelica's spot.

Not going to wallow. You win some, you lose some. Wish we had done some things differently, and I'm gettin a little tired of Memphis.

On to the next one...

Hi. I don't know if I may go OT, but i try....

I would like to know better the Bay, from my euro hometown. Can you suggest me tv series, movies, book (fiction is better if possible) you think give a deep look inside San Francisco and/or Oakland? For example, i think The Wire was a great guide to know Baltimore. I'm very sorry if I go OT too much.

Could it be that the Warrior core is getting old? Steph/Dray/Iggy. They seem to have difficulty with teams like them who have pace and young guns. We should have buried them but they adjusted and we didn't/couldn't? Another game where Bjelica couldn't sustain his minutes although he wasn't bad. He has great hands, instincts, can pass and score. DLee stepping up but no one stopping their shooters. Poole infected with turnoveritis makes his effectiveness on the floor even less. We have no real way of stopping the TOs. It comes with this territory and I don't like the Warriors trying to outpace teams as this will add to the TOs. They play out of control and no one clogging up the paint. Kerr needs to rethink some things. They are too predictable.

Wiggins straight disappeared at the end after he hit 16 lol

Dre, Dray, Bjelica, Wiggs, Steph is a starting lineup I’d be interested in seeing. The passing and cutting would be interesting. Poole and Bjelica are too bad on D to play heavy minutes together right now.

I would have loved to see GP2 sent out to live in Morant’s pocket as the cooler in the 3rd right when it started to look like Ja was getting a rhythm. Also would have loved to see Steph and Dray not get tired and make horrible decisions. Poole needs to take a puff or two before the game to slow it down a bit. Although he insisted on following up every good play he had with some type of bone headed heat-check, so maybe he has been? Bjelica had a few awesome moments, but he seems better with Steph than with the second unit, and was part of the group that let the Grizzlies back into the game.

Tough loss. Dubs took a few blows. DLee took a bunch, but Poole hit the back of his head on the court pretty hard too. JaMorant is special. If I go to a game this year I’d like to see him play (and lose). We need Klay back so badly it hurts.

Here, take the reins to the lineup for a sec. Say you're the Dub head coach, Warriors down three with under ten seconds, but only 5 on the 24 second clock. It's time out with the ball. What's your lineup and why?
