Thoughts on Wisemans First Game
1) Flashed lack of hands which was a problem early in his season but he improved as time went on so hopefully he hasn't regressed
2) Showed enhanced timing on screens and knowing when to hand off/screen within the flow of the offense even if his decision making of when to roll could still use some improvements
3) Noticeable increase in bulk which allowed for him to not get knocked around when going for rebounds (should have had far more than six but his teammates kept stealing them). The next step for him is improving his positioning because he's strong enough that once he gets it he can't simply get booted from the spot
4) Flashed two left handed hook shots + a face up midranger which were within his wheel house last year but were nowhere near this smooth/quick.
5) Defensively he left a lot to be desired as he was consistently late to help rotations resulting in uneffective contests + his pick and roll drop coverage leaves FAR too much space for a midrange jumper and will have Wiseman eaten alive in the NBA
6) Was fantastically productive despite slow start dropping 18 points in like 17 minutes which has me looking forward to how he can do on Sunday
Looking ahead, a rough road on the horizon. Starting March 22nd @Orlando, we have five road games in seven nights, with two back-to-backs with the back-ends featuring @Miami and @Memphis. We then have one night off before facing Phoenix at home.
Overall, we have the following tough teams to face:
- Milwaukee, Boston, @Miami, @Atlanta, @Memphis, Phoenix, and Utah.
Easier games remaining:
- Washington, San Antonio, Orlando, @Washington, @Sacramento, LA Lakers, @San Antonio, @New Orleans (last game of the season on a road b2b).
Gonna be a tough finish to the year. And unless the last game has significant playoff implications I expect it's going to be a young guns @Denver kind of situation again.
I know it was just Wiseman’s first game and he can’t go all out, but did anyone else get vibes that Wiseman plays more like a skilled lanky wing than a dominating physical center? Like, he didn’t overwhelm anybody with athleticism yesterday. Just used his long arms to good effect.
Honestly, I have still some doubts after this game. Big motivation lapses, and nuggets exhausted (0/8 threes from Joker speaks by itself). Even though, it was good to see general growth and fierce Dub cubs
Steph was a lovely thing to see, tonight. From his pre-game chat with P.J. to his relentless attack of the basket and from the perimeter, he reminded us all that he still has some magic left. Wiggs, otoh............
Poole, the party continues......JFK continuously rising.......Bjeli continuously baffling along with JTA & DLee. There's gonna be some changes in the offseason, for sure.

Steph may be able to get a little mvp momentum by beating jokic and Giannis b2b on national television
But more importantly, what are those shades Dray had. I need those

Good news: Wiseman a little slower but more confident and present
Anyone knows how was Tyereke Evan’s workout?
What a challenge between the Joker and Steph, who’s the nicest and funniest?

What’s our playoff rotation if everyone is healthy?
We getting GP2 back ever?
