Warriors sorely need to find a way to keep DDV. He really knows how o play basketball. He should be handling the ball in the last two minutes instead of JP, Klay, Kuminga, or Lamb. The last 30 sec was frightening. Don't they practice this stuff? Utah game ending should have mandated it every practice.

"UPDATE (2/27/23) at 4:17 p.m. ET: Warriors head coach Steve Kerr says MRI came back clean on Draymond Green's knee. He is considered questionable for Tuesday's game. "

Woo! I think... haven't seen it anywhere else, and not sure how much I trust FanNation, but it's a pretty unambiguous update.

Lamb has 4 games of eligibility left, and Jerome 11... it's coming down to the wire for these guys. And they're both still getting minutes over youngsters. If Dray and Andrew remain unavailable, Lamb is going to play in every game, so he'll lose eligibility after the @LAL game on 3/5. If Lamb gets the roster spot, Jerome can only play in 11 of the remaining 21 games... at some point, they may have to ask themselves if Iguodala is worth the roster spot.

So.... Steph is getting re-evaluated on Wednesday. If all goes well I hope we get to see him make his return sometime next week.

You know... don't tell me the Warriors are down starters... if they can somehow sweep the remainder of this home stand (doable!), they'll be 34-30 and at worst, tied for the 5 seed with the Mavs, and will have gone 11-6 since the Nyets debacle, despite all the injuries. Of course, even holding a 32-32 record will be good enough for me... and 33-31 will be great!

So, if nothing else, I hope those made shots from Troel & Playoff P juuuuuust after the buzzer are going to encourage more players to ACTUALLY SHOOT THE BALL BEFORE THE BUZZER instead of avoiding it to keep their percentages up. The league should pass a rule that shots from beyond half court with <2s left in the period don't count as player attempt or something.

Jordan had a rough shooting game, but overall I thought he was pretty good overall... took a look at his 4 TOs, and zomg they are the softest most acceptable TOs ever:

1. Terrible call from Brothers to take away his layup for an egregious flop.

2. Got called for moving screen after JK started his move too quickly while Jordan was running (out of control) by his defender.

3. Blocked the heck out of NAW and his heave to keep the ball in play was caught by Minny

4. Slightly off target bounce pass to Loon that Loon couldn't corral (Wiseman would get destroyed on this blog for dropping that one, but Loon's getting a deserved pass)... Loon was gonna have an easy layup if he caught it.

Can't believe Vanderbilt was basically a throw in for scraps. It would have been a godsend to get him but I doubt Minnesota wanted anything from us. I'm just glad he didn't go to a team like Phoenix because he would have really helped them.

Can Klay keep some of the rebounding and assists like last couple of games even when Steph/Dray/Wiggs are back?

Seemed like most of the Klay,'s rebounds were mid-range/long rebounds and that could be just about how much Klay is locked in.

Klay has definitely been on a mission. He is mostly a pure scorer but lately he is starting to contribute both in rebounding and passing. With his size, he has never had a complete game because of his role as a catch and shoot player. He and Steph have the most beautiful shooting form I've ever seen. But sloppiness can never be tolerated in my mind and this is what ruins watching the Warriors for me, at present. Our core 3 are the sloppiest that I can remember and that has continued to this day. Maybe some things just can't be completely fixed so you focus on offense to compensate. One of the more interesting developments this season is both Dray and Steph wearing eyeglasses. Is it possible that this has always contributed to their messiness? I don't recall Klay needing eyeglasses, though. In any case, I confess to feeling bored with our team.

I have also been on the see saw with Poole. Does he play any defense at all beside trying to steal the ball when he guards someone? This part of the game seems absent to him. He's passing more but his volume shooting is not really getting the job done. He will be moved back to the bench when Steph and Wiggs come back. Poole, DDV, & Kuminga, make a very fast paced bench that can be exciting. Can you imagine adding a Naz Reid to that mix? Now that's a bench I'd like to see. Moody cannot play with the same pace these guys play at. Kuminga often struggles with it as Poole and DDV are lightning quick. Poole needs to be reigned in and disciplined. Is it possible?

With the two massive injuries that Klay sustained, it's just not reasonable to expect him to ever come back as anything like the player he once was. He is of course still a good shot and will be able to hit corner threes, but his career as any kind of key starter on a playoff team is of course done. He's inspired many with his work ethic to return to the game that he loves so much, but it's hard watching him out there, valiantly trying -- wait, what?

He did what? He's -- seriously? Since Jan. 1st? That can't be right.

What do you guys think, would you prefer 4/5th seed against suns/clippers/mavs, 6th seed against Kings, 7th against Grizz? I’d rather not think about having to play two playin games just to get to 8th seed…

Man Warriors Twitter is so toxic (I guess most of Twitter is). So much complaining - feels like they'd rather the Warriors lose than win.

After the Denver game, Tim Legler was in ESPN extolling Jokic’s play. Even though a lot of threes are being made, he said that the Western conference will be won in the paint.
