The Dubs continue to disregard their need for another big guy. This can really only mean one thing, that they are all in on Wiseman, or that no one wants Wiseman. As 3D said, the Warriors don't need Chiozza. That decision, made before this season started, to sign Chiozza, is and was the achilles heel of the Dubs. If Looney goes down, there is no one to give us anything near what he gives us each game. While Bjelica has size, he's a limited player. I like him, but he's really not a rim protector, only a stretch big guy with a 3 point shot. We've got plenty of other 3 point guys but no size for the paint. The Warriors look like a team that is glued to the floor. Is waiting for Wiseman, wise?

I'm with you Daniel on a 3rd big-big...lol...been there since the beginning of the season, preferably a serviceable vet...I think Wiseman is a keeper...I also think we undid the Dynasty when we brought KD on, but, that is another story....

FWIW, I think the Warriors did kinda, sorta shop Wiseman but couldn't find a deal they liked. The whole, "we aren't sure when he'll be ready", "we aren't giving updates anymore", "OH, he is cleared for contact and here is video proof" just a couple of days before the deadline looks to me like trying to persuade prospective trading partners that he isn't permanently damaged goods. Then again, he would have had to pass a physical, so who knows.

While my head is swimming, I am reassured that the NBA GMs have achieved their primary goal: These deals will be awesome for ratings. Expect to see an even huger diet of Nets, Sixers, and Mavs in prime time. Everyone will want to see how those teams play out. Add in occasional Miami, Chicago, Bucks, GSW and the rare whining sightings of Phoenix, Memphis and the Lakers and that’s your prime time.

Say what you will about LeBron's decisions in offseason acquisitions, but All-Star-Drafter LeGM is on a roll. Giannis and Steph with consecutive picks? Ez dubs Team LeBron.

Holy cow how did the Nets get two first rounders out of Morey!?

I look forward to seeing Draymond live rent-free inside Ben Simmons' head throughout the NBA Finals (assuming the Warriors and Nets are the ones that make it).

The Nets are waiving DeAndre Bembry to create roster room for the trade today, sources tell ESPN.

If the Warriors really are wanting to sign another big, Demarcus Cousins is basically just playing on 10 day contracts right now...

So the teams that didn't make any moves before the trade deadline are:

-Warriors

-Timberwolves

-Grizzlies

-Bulls

Lakers are not in the list, because they traded Rondo to the Cavs.

Heat is not on the list, because they traded a player and a 1st round pick for a 1st and 2nd round picks.

Bucks are not on the list, because they were involved in the four-way trade with the Kings, the Pistons, and the Clippers.

So is it just me or did KD basically get the band put back together with new faces? Irving ~= Curry; Seth Curry ~= Klay; Simmons ~= Dray; and KD = KD (plus LMA or whomever at C). One is even a Curry. I feel like this is the through-the-looking-glass KD-era Dubs...

Besides all the injuries (mental and physical) amongst them, given they also got first round picks...this seems like a win for Brooklyn, no? Given Simmons' refusal to play in Philly (I honestly don't blame him), it seems its a win for Philly too (provided tampering problems don't come up in the aftermath). I don't really follow either team closely though, so what am I missing?

In unrelated news, Curry is two points away from passing John "Anti-Vaxxer" Stockton to move to number 53 on the NBA/ABA career scoring list.

He has an outside chance of passing former Warriors player Antawn Jamison for number 52 on the list if he can score 333 points tonight.
