BUT… just guard your heart about MPJ. He’s been a knucklehead on social media and a very bad defender by analytics for the last 3 years including this season probably due to spaciness and maybe due to lack of effort. When he’s in flow and making shots, he looks unstoppable and the shooting is real (40% every year of his career) but he’s been a low engine player.
Yeah, if the trade happens, I’ll be right there saying “we can change him” but… guard your heart.
Scrappy effort from GSW, thrilling comeback, just lost the random ending. Yes, the refs missed the goaltend call, but also Steph got a lucky late 3 bounce. So many rebounds took weird bounces. Sometimes, it’s just not your night. In fact the most controllable factor all night was Kerr getting himself ejected, that’s the difference in the game.
