Malik Beasley suspended 12 games. Looks like Minnesota will if not have the worst record in the NBA close to it. Nooo!!!!

My random trade idea I came up with. Oubre and salary filler for Aaron Gordon (my white whale). Gordon's a true 4, and can play in a small ball lineup with Dray at 5. He also is Draymond insurance and would fit the system perfectly. Also, he's a nice mid tier salary slot that you keep for one more year. For the Magic, Oubre is exactly the type of 3 they've never had, and I think would mean they can just take this year as an injury blip. Fultz, Fournier, Oubre, Isaac, Vooch. That's a nice fit. Plus they'd be adding in another lottery pick this year most likely.

If the Warriors to keep Oubre, great. He's looked fantastic the last month, and if he's open to playing off the bench next year on a contending team making $20M/year. Great. I think a closing lineup of Curry, Klay, Wiggins, Oubre and Dray can win.

If they don't think he will come back, this is a nice easy out that doesn't require making a decision on adding in Wiseman or the Minny pick.

If you'd told me that the W's would be 2-2 on this trip, I would not have picked these 2 games for the wins.

Did anyone see Paschall getting visibly frustrated with Wannamaker’s defensive decisions last night? Didn’t look healthy.

Some thoughts on this one:

Indiana really is a strong team. Brogdon looked better than I remembered, Sabonis was absolutely phenomenal. Honestly I'm still in a little bit of disbelief at how we managed to get this one. It was crazy close throughout: neither team ever got a lead greater than 7 points! And yeah, people getting smashed in the face, diving all over the place... the level of competition was palpable, I love how much you could see guys want it.

Paschall was in BEAST MODE again tonight. He was pretty much singlehandedly the 2nd unit's offense. He also had some great minutes in crunch time alongside the starters. His defense is also looking more disciplined. It gets me excited because I can see the potential for a Small Ball Death Squad variation with Paschall in more of a PJ Tucker mold. We didn't see as much of the drive & kick approach from him this game, which was smart because Indiana was ready for the passes but they weren't ready for him to just hulk smash his way to the basket.

Steph may have been off from 3 but this was one of the most impressive defensive performances I've seen from him. His 8 rebounds and 2 steals show up in the box score, but how many deflections did he have on top of that? He was definitely part of the reason Brogdon was 0/4 from 3pt for the game. Plus his strength, cutting, getting guys open with screens... you know, the usual.

I thought Wiggins looked really good early on, but he kind of vanished later. He did just enough scoring to matter, got some clutch boards, dished out a couple nice dimes (including the only lob to Wiseman that was actually in a good spot), and came up with some good stops, too. Even though it feels like, on offense, he's regressed a bit, his defense remains excellent, and we definitely won this one with defense, soooo....

Oubre's 3-point shooting looked bad (he only looked down at the line once and only for a split second—I checked—and yet two of his four attempts weren't even close) but he and Bazemore had team-high +10. In Oubre's case, it was smart defense and some timely cuts to get easy dunks off Curry's gravity. You love to see it.

I'm actually pretty surprised Looney didn't play more. I thought for sure he'd get subbed in when Wiseman fouled out, but instead JTA played a few minutes and then Paschall finished the game instead. Might be Kerr's being careful with Looney on the back end of a b2b after coming back from injury, or maybe the plan was to sub him in for Paschall in that closing unit but Paschall played well enough that he didn't have to. In any case, not the greatest game for Kevon but not a bad one. In particular, I liked a simple play where he ran the 4-on-3 after getting the release-valve pass from Curry and made a perfect pass to a cutting Oubre for an easy dunk.

I think Wiseman looked a lot better than the last time he faced the Pacers. He was still kinda butterfingers but at least part of that was guys not getting lobs to him in the right spot. The rebounding issues are purely his own problem though. I'm not sure we win this one if he plays much more of the 4th though. His touch around the rim, ability to box out, and so on definitely are still not quite there yet. Loved his 3-pointer after saving an errant Draymond pass in Q1 though!

Not much to say about anyone else. I guess Green getting a season high in points is notable, but 12 feels like no big deal. Appreciated that his points were all in the paint; he got to the basket and made everything except a buzzer-beater from 3 after a wild rebound. He and Steph seemed a little disconnected, maybe that's the road b2b at work.

In any case, tough game against a tough team and a great way to close out the road trip. Looking forward to breaking the non-streak by crowning a revenge streak against Charlotte this Friday!

Wiseman has looked really lost so far and this has been said many times but I just can't imagine being in his situation. Only 3 college games, gets drafted and started training camp less than a month later without really any offseason program/summer league/preseason and now he's expected to adjust to the best athletes in the world. With him being a big man his mistakes stands out more too because he's usually the last line of defense and they'll always cost the team points. I have the utmost confidence in him to get used to the NBA pace eventually. Be patient Warriors fans. It's going to be an up and down first year but I have a good feeling "Big Jim" will reward us in the future for our patience.

I loved wiseman playing with the second unit, I think that's the best spot for him. He'd be able to score without taking shots from curry and he'd be going against lesser players on defense. I also loved EP playing with the starters in the fourth. A curry n EP pick and roll is disgusting

The pace of the game and long stretches of no scoring makes me wonder how both teams got over 100. It wasn’t a typical “fun” game but great win for the dubs nevertheless. Seriously so much face damage. I mean, Steph and Kelly, those are good looking guys...please, not the face! LOL

I'm not sure what to make of Wiseman's feel of the game. He's only 19 but this guy looks so lost on the court most of the time, it makes me wonder if those few glimpses he has on offense are just because he's practiced a move a bunch of times.

We should be 19-13 in 5th place but it is what it is. The only one of those losses I think was a good loss was the Heat one.

"Warriors gotta hire someone to follow Wiseman in the offseason, just randomly chucking basketballs at him, all waking hours" - this should be the visual for a hip-hop video about people throwing s*** at you all the time.
