Apricot's In-Game Notes
We might need a separate article on GR3. It was great having him on the team and he had some exciting plays and expended effort on D. But he was also rated #451 out of 520 NBA players by ESPN WINS and #378 by RPM. And #441 and a big negative on D by DRPM. Advanced stats hate him.
Q1.11.30, IND runs that Iverson Cut play we run against us.
Wow a sweet little interior pass from Dray to Oubre
oooooh, Wiggins big dunk. Now has +10% attack speed buff
Q1.6.20. Long Loop play (the one I don't like) for Steph, Trapped, then Looney finds Oubre. Good. Then Steph throws a behind the back pass (the one I don't like) into the stands.
Brilliant the way Dray and Steph fakes being completely confused to get that pass to Wiseman for 3
LeBron Memorial Slide Tackle
That Oubre finish was so under control and pretty
You owe us brownies after the pandemic.
What do you have against Our Guy Juanito?
Warriors gotta hire someone to follow Wiseman in the offseason, just randomly chucking basketballs at him, all waking hours
McConnell punishing every lazy pass. That was a Motion Weak PNR or a counter, damn it I wanted to see what happened.
Wanamaker and Paschall have been especially out of sync this season
Come on refs, Wiseman finally defends the PNR well, and you call that weak stuff??
I think Steph said a bad word after that 3 miss
hey, Steph didn’t overhelp off the corner there. It ended in a Sabonis bunny, but that’s progress
Good switching on D, and Looney ... questionable foul
I like GSW trying to strip Sabonis when he brings the ball down. Steph got smacked in the face by Myles
Oubre and Looney, some good switching. The D has come a long way.
Watching this game is like watching two clans who only have clubs, just beating the crap out of each other. As soon as one of them discovers the cannon (the 3), it’s game over
Actually we already own the cannon, but we left it in New York
It’s kind of amazing GSW still in it. Tribute to defensive effort
R_ND_M _ND_NG in view
Steph has hit the floor twice tonight (maybe 7 times if you count getting knocked on his ass on layups)
R_ND_M _ND_NG I’d like to buy a vowel
Dray with 5 fouls... refs can toss him the old fashioned way
Sorry, the answer was REDRUM REDRUM
Honestly, both teams look beat. GSW is reaching more, IND is settling for jumpers and complaining about every play... Myles wanted a T on Dray for his aerial routine on the dunk
Oubre’s switching has really been on point today. It always looks like he’s going to be too late, but he does make the right switch
I don’t know how many steps Paschall took on that dunk, but it sure went through the hoop at high velocity
Lol what does it mean that I 100% thought Paschall was going to foul McDermott on that 3
I think that was technically a foul on Steph. But if you really go by that standard, James Harden would be banned from the NBA for life
It would not crack my top 10 foul complaints from the game though
Well... math says we should intentionally foul. But I absolutely positively do not trust this team to not foul into a 4 point play
Wow. I was thinking, is there any mathematical way GSW can lose this, and the answer is... if they call Oubre for a foul before the play, which would give IND a FT and the ball. No call, whew
WHEW what a grind
They locked him in the ice bath
Given the ref standards of this game, I was fully prepared for an inaccurate call
Haha, Draymond called his ejection “bullshit” (as in he messed up for his team) on live TV
Malik Beasley suspended 12 games. Looks like Minnesota will if not have the worst record in the NBA close to it. Nooo!!!!
When can poole come back up the boy is ready for minutes
