That monster only got 269 yards of total offense, including 30 on a dropped fourth down pass that led to a touchdown. That game was 100% about the quarterback injury. It's impossible to beat a half decent team if they know you can't throw.

Alas, it was not to be, and the 49ers will have some hard decisions to make in the off season. Their QB situation is untenable as configured. Lance is a complete unknown in the NFL, Garropolo is a goner as he will undoubtedly be signed somewhere else, and it looks like the choice between Lance and Purdy, barring injuries, goes to Purdy. 49ers have some kind of QB curse going on. Brock Purdy injury at the beginning of the game was a killer. The offense couldn't stay on the field, so the defense got worn out over time.
