So dissapointed with wiggins. Even with a great defense, we need more for a guy that gets paid 33 mill. Is he lost in the system? What botters me is that he cant even get at the free trow line with all his tools.
I mean, if we want a 3 and D guy we can get a great one for half of that money.
And wiseman looks like a 19 years old. he might be ready in 3 or 4 years.
Some guys here think he can contribute with big minutes next year...that wont happen..he looks so lost that it will take a lot of time.
Im all on board to get Beal. OThers guys like Vucevic can improve our team too a lot. Look at the Nets. we have the assets to do it.
Its painfull to see steph with the higest payroll in the league and with NO help on offense.

Really it was Carmelo being absolutely ridiculous that kept them in the game long enough to steal it. That and it felt like the refs just had it in for us. I try not to complain about refereeing but ugh. How was that foul on Wiggins' last drive not a shooting foul? Plus there were a few and-1's Portland got that looked like less contact than was a no-call when our guys were shooting it. The last charge call was very close, but I think it was correctly called, probably, as much as that sucks for us.
It just feels so much worse because our next 4 games are gonna be even harder and we really wanted the tiebreaker for this series. Ugh.
Mistakes from a borderline team will get punished. Green's utter disregard for Lillard putting himself in his path and not trying to go around him blew this game. They couldn't close it out because the talent is just not there 50% of the time. As close as this game was, the Warriors just don't seem to have enough to win on a consistent basis. All I saw was the Steph Curry show. No one else really stepped up and I feel like I'm kicking a dead horse. For me, it's next season for the make or break Warriors. WYSIWYG. Without Oubre, they can only beat other borderline teams. Sorry for the realism, but that seems to be how it is this season.
Good game without Oubre. I heard somewhere that Dame had a TS% over 80 on clutch shots this season, guess the Warriors played single coverage with the expectation that will regress to normal over time?
Kanter the wiley vet abused Wiseman on positioning (and pretty much every other way possible) so Wiseman didnāt even have a chance at rebounds.
Wiggins had his feet moving again on D and looked really good out there for most of the game. Still confused why the Warriors keep channeling his T-Wolves days with the second unit.
Warriors need to overcome the scheduling loss to avoid the immediate 3 loss streak following the 3 wins. Hopefully Oubre is ok.
If youāre going to play Wiseman with the second unit, why not listen to Sabrina (i think) and run the offense through him?
I thought the second unit looked a lot better tonight. I think this was the swap JTA in for J Dub.
JTA and Damion created some nice motion on offense with aggressive cuts to the basket. This helped create space for EP. I hope we start to see more of this.
Shout out to Brad for being disciplined on offense. He kept the hot potato moving and didnāt let it sink into the Wanamaker energy well.
I get it, we lost a game we could've/should've won... out of all the things discussed in this thread, I'm kind of disappointed in the lack of love for Oubre... clearly he would've been huge. It's like we forgot he was on the team... š¢
Iām bummed we lost. And clearly there are a lot of things not right with our team. But until the last two minutes I was wondering if all the stuff Dame has been dealing with personally was keeping him from playing his best, he just seemed out of sorts. Normally he is my favorite player in the NBA not in a warriors jersey - but tonight he looked pretty average for 46 minutes. But you got to hand it to the guy to pull it together to make two killer plays to win the game. I still would rather we made one of the 4 shots we had on that possession with a minute left to win, but just saying, Dame is for real.
As a community we tend to overreact to everything. Remember Oubre beginning of the season? Letās just be patient on JDub. He hasnāt played that many games since high school yet! There is a whole second half of the season. His potential is immense.
If Wiseman was the 30th pick, he'd be in the g league right now. It makes too much sense for him to be there. It's obvious what he needs is playing time. You can't expect him to get that much better if most of his playing time is coming in practice. You can't really play him more because he's a negative but you can't not play him cause he's the future. I get the reason for him not to be in the g league (ego hit, politics, etc.), but I bet he would have came out of the stint way better than he is now.
Unrelated Barnes update no one asked for, 6, 6, 7, 5 assists in his last 4 games. Wish it was possible for him to come back here but I bet he ends up on the Celtics
Why is it ok for our second unit to iso for twelve minutes every game but our starting unit is forced to play by kerr's philosophy even if it means taking away shots from curry or not abusing mismatches?

Dubs are trying to develop Wiseman while trying to ensure this season w/ Curry's near MVP numbers is not a disaster.
We are stuck in no man's land. Dubs need to pick one frankly given how green Wiseman is.
