The outcome might have been different if Chiozza hadn't started jacking up 3's with 20 seconds left on the shot clock. I was literally screaming "NO!" at the TV as he gathered. Cheese is not a good shooter from deep so he shouldn't even think of taking those early shots even if he is wide open.

Frankly, this doesn't fill me with confidence:

"NBA 40 Under 40: Warriors scion Kirk Lacob has become one of Bob Myers’ top deputies in Golden State.

Kirk Lacob has been a part of the Golden State Warriors front office for over a decade, joining the organization in 2010 when his father, Joe Lacob, and Peter Guber bought the team. He joined fresh out of college and has made an ascension through the front office in the year since; Lacob is now the executive vice president of basketball operations."

One goal/hope with the roster was to have Moody & JFK supplant D Lee & JTA on the depth chart. It's official. Think of the luxury it is to have guys like D Lee & JTA on your 3rd string. The last piece is Wiseman, of course. Some people believe all he will be good for is 6 fowls, but I think that idea is for the birds. It's his job to supplant Looney - which he would do soon enough if not for the injury. This is why you draft these guys. You are a better team if Looney is your back-up center, when the D Lees and JTAs of the world pack the deep end of your bench. We are finally starting to see the pieces clicking into place. Just one more very tall piece to add to finish the puzzle.

Man, the team may be driving us crazy, but this crop of youngsters is the stuff of legend. Remember when we were squinting trying to see something in McCaw and Paschall?

When we get Poole, Moody, Wiseman and Kuminga on the floor together for the first time, are we going to call them the “Dubutantes”?

I wonder if the Nuggets will rest Jokic for the @Kings game? They're playing four games in five nights straight, so they should be considering resting their All-Star center for that game. I'm going to be surprised if they didn't.

Or maybe the Nuggets will rest their starters for the game on Thursday instead.

So Luka rests after playing the Warriors a couple of games back then Lebron rests after playing the Dubs last game. Bet Jokic rests this next game

See this is why I’m not as upset about any of these losses (Dallas and Denver at home excepted) because the Warriors have to expend so much energy on these teams bringing their A game on a nightly basis. Just near impossible to do every single game.

I took Chaos's advice down below, and went on NBA G League Stats to find us a big man. DJ Wilson seems intriguing, wrapping up a 10 day with the Raptors. Not exactly a center, but at 6'10", he is almost a foot taller than the Cheese. Greg Monroe is cleaning up the g-league, and while he's probably way over the hill, he is pretty big. Not in the G-league but I heard there's a young Serbian kid playing in Europe that looks promising. I think they call him the "Smiling Beast" or "Smiley Geek" or something???

Hey Sleepy, I greatly appreciate the 1 year subscription gift. But if you did not mean to do that on purpose and clicked the Give Gift button by accident, please feel free to take it back lol, I will not be offended in the least.

There were some hopeful signs in this one. But ouch. Five in a row...

The kids performed great, Steph is out of his slump and going back to old rotation, and Dray announcing he’s targeting 3/14 return against Wiz? Feeling better despite a 5 game losing streak.

Main problem tonight was helping the helper, imo. A little better connectedness and quicker rotations would have gone a long way, especially in the first half.

Hot take: if the Warriors starters played tonight, they would've lost by more than 10 points.
