Well, the Kings made it competitive, but the Nuggets managed to muster enough energy to close out the game with a win in the end. Nuggets beat the Kings 106-100 with four of the Nuggets starters playing 30-35 minutes each.

It's a close game in Sacramento now. I think fatigue is starting to get to the Nuggets; each of the starters have played 20-27 minutes, and the Nuggets shooting went down from 55% to 50%.

Hot take: Minny might pass Denver or Dallas

Jokic needs 5 more assists for a triple-double. I guess Nuggets decided to play him tonight so that he can get another triple-double.

Knicks beat the Mavericks 107-77. Looks like Knicks are on a roll right now. They beat the Clippers, the Kings, and now the Mavericks by a lot. Their next opponent are the Grizzlies on Friday.

Nuggets aren't playing Jeff Green, Bones Hyland, and Will Barton tonight against the Nuggets. Jokic is playing, however.

Biggest takeaway for me from this game was Attack Wiggins showed up (on the boards, among other places). Some of the other guys who'd been struggling, like Bjelica and to a lesser extent Poole, also made some good contributions.

There were so many killer passes this game. Bjelica was hitting cutters with pinpoint accuracy. Moody and Kuminga showed their BBIQ is above rookie level by quickly and brilliantly choosing between finishing the job themselves or dumping it off to a friend depending on how the defense reacts.

Klay still looks a little off. He's still missing short a lot. And his defense might be a step slower than it used to be. His instincts are still good though.

Biggest difference-maker on defense though was (not) fouling. Two games ago, every time one of the Mavs made a threatening drive they got free throws, a basket, or both. This game, whether due to different referees, different mindset, or what, the Dubs were able to contest without getting whistled, and let the Clippers miss. Which they did, a lot.

Still feels a little dicey; if LAC makes a few more of those layups, the game gets uncomfortably close down the stretch and then who knows where it goes? But while we're buying time for Draymond to return, this'll do.

Steph told Klay “You’re Klay Thompson. Don’t ever forget that.”

Maybe he should’ve added, “…but how about being Joe Harris for the time being?”

Anyone know how to watch Santa Cruz Warriors game if we’re not local?

Ok but seriously guys how the hell did we build a roster that’s capable of winning a championship while having not only 1 but FOUR young building blocks for the future…

I loved their positive vibes last night and the way they kept the Clippers out of any sort of rhythm before putting the game away, though when you’ve lost enough games in a row sometimes the other guys shots just don’t fall while yours do, will need to see them play the Bucks tough before believing in a turnaround

Yo... Wiseman lacing it up TOMORROW. Are we finally going to see more ball from this kid and be able to move past all our speculation? He'll have a bunch of growing pains, of course, what with not having any real NBA reps in almost a year... but we should be able to assess some of what he's picked up over the 11 months of sitting out, right?

My takeaways from seeing the game live:

You knew the Warriors were serious about winning this one when Jackie Moon took the court, and then they played their best non-Iguodala 3 man lineup. Poole, Klay, & Steph started out struggling as the Clippers went at Moody for a 3, a 2, and 3 free throws in quick succession. Once Moody got pulled, the Warriors stomped the Clippers with Steph, Poole, Klay, Wiggins, & Looney. Glad to see the coaches are willing to play their best lineups when forced to with a limited roster to end a 4 game losing streak.

Main thought of the game: Klay is a much better 3 than point guard. As a playmaking shooting three, he’s really good. As an initiator, he can over dribble and nobody else touches the ball.

OT: do our under the drinking age players really do not drink? Not even after they won the Championship? Seems so strange from a country where beer is considered a nutrient… (beer and wine/champagne at 16, the rest at 18 yrs)
