When I first saw Wiseman wear number 33, I thought he might incorporate the Sky Hook into his game. Hell, why doesn’t any 7 footer shoot the Sky Hook? I learned to shoot it in the first grade. Can’t be that difficult. Not sexy enough? Kareem was an automatic 2 in crunch time—THAT’s SEXY! Still holds most points in the NBA because of that shot!

Mr Wiseman please consider following in the foot steps of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and do that Sky Hook! When you eventually get double-team, kick out to Curry. Thank you.

#Celtics announce they have signed C Mfiondu Kabengele to a two-way contract. He flourished for BOS in Las Vegas Summer League.

Disappointing. Was hoping that the Warriors would at least bring him on an Exhibit 10 contract in preseason.

I do think wiseman looks much more comfortable on the perimeter right now then in the paint, let that boy shoot!

It literally works perfect, let wiseman be the stretch let kuminga be the inside force, that's such a mismatch nightmare, combine that with kuminga being a much better passer then wiseman I think it makes all the sense in the world.

Couple years down the road then hopefully kuminga can develop the kawhi like perimeter game and wiseman can be a force in the paint, but right now I think we should play to there strengths to get them confidence

I don’t if everyone saw the signs I posted around campus, but us Santos fans are organizing. We’re planning on writing and performing song-and-dance routines about him. If you’d like to audition for the Gui Club, our first meeting is in the cafeteria after school on Monday.

General note about SL: I like Danna's commentaries, do you?

ok, quick response to something dumb I heard on the radio. One reason a guy thought it made sense to get KD, is that the combined salaries of Poole & Wiggs will soon exceed KD's. Pump the breaks math genius. KD plays 36 min. Wiggs + Poole = 36 + 30 minutes. That's 66 minutes. Now divide KD's salary by 36 and potential Wiggs + Poole Salaries by 66. I understand the salaries matter, but so does having 5 guys on the court at the same time and salary / minutes played shows the true cost of your player. One of the reasons Wiggins salary was never as bad as it seemed is because he plays all the time and doesn't miss games. Anywho, getting out of my nu-airconditioned hot box I call a house. whaHOo

If Santos doesn't ever make it to the NBA, or flames out early, would we call him the Brazilian Blip?

It's too bad that Carsen Edwards is Chiozza-sized (although with a 6-5 wingspan) and sucks at defense.

You know what would be cool (but impossible)? It would be great if we all just stopped talking about Wiseman's development and instead just treated him like a normal NBA player. We all know he is young and is going to get better. But for now, coming out of the gate in his third year, maybe he is a D Lee type of player. Has some good nights, has some stinkers, has some "Meh" nights and might even help you win a game or two over the year. The kid is going to be as good as he can be on any given night, and as my wife often reminds our children, "Sorry kids, that's what we got for dinner."

Speaking of what's for dinner, development is like a Chicken Pot Pie. How many times can we take it out of the oven and talk about how good it 'could be' before its actually done? So I say: F it, Let the kids play and don't mind the furniture. BandAids are in the hall closet if you need 'em.

Players gotta crawl before they can dunk. Rather than muse relentlessly over what all these guys could be, I will try to enjoy the aggravating and amusing pratfalls of their youth and the lasting memories they are going to generate.

Ahhh, who the F am I kidding! Let's talk about Moody.

I see a Danny Green type of ... with more .... and his athleticism will certainly .... while many felt his floor ... and by year 5 ... (fade into oblivion)

Scenario: your kid who plays high school basketball is away for a while, then comes back and plays a pretty mediocre game no, it’s a bad game. You go up to your kid and say that was a really really bad game. And the kid said yeah that was a really really bad game. Next day you go onto the school public address system and say I already told my kid this, but he played a really really bad game.

What are you doing to your kid? If this is Draymond’s ‘new media’, I’m really really not liking it.

Really good write ups. I am very happy with wiseman. Best case was a player playing hard with some skills who will develop more options as he plays. And we are best case.

Santos is a ball handler who is big and clever. Keep him here (2 way?)with the best coaches

That means quindary on the roster in the David lee role which would is well Why quinones is a 2 way is a mystery but I always trust front office more than me

Pulling up to Santos Island in my inflatable raft. Kid has good basketball instincts. I'm okay with him staying in Brazil another year and then making a move to Santa Cruz. But if Andre doesn't come back and or/ PBJ gets put on a deep freeze to heal up, I could see GS wanting to get him in SC and have him a little closer to home. I could see a guy like that on the back end of your roster in a year or two.
