That’s right fans, the Golden State Warriors got a big win on the road, bringing the team roaring out undefeated in the month of February. Put the league on notice, because here we come!
Draymond Green found his fire, ending the game with 16 assists. When this team gets hot, all bets are off.
This is a rare win for the struggling Warriors, but there’s just something about playing the Cleveland Cavaliers that brings out the best in the squad.
Stay tuned, we will have a full recap for you in the morning. But for now, let’s party!
Was impressed with GR3 tonight, he's been growing on me steadily but tonight may have been his best performance. He's getting better at moving without the ball for Dray and knowing when to cut and when to spot up in the corner. Could see him being a solid 6-8th guy in the rotation next year
My housemate is a diehard Portland fan (great to have NBA company here in Asia-land) so I've been watching a lot of his INSANE tear. It's been superhuman and awesome to watch.
He called the victory over the Lakers, and I was skeptical as hell. But damn...Dame showed up with 48/9/10...and could have had that 10th rebound but played team ball rather than chasing boards. Impressive and inspiring.
C'mon Burks keep building up that trade value. My guess right now is that teams are probably severely low-balling the Warriors on Burks (low second round) to where I wouldn't be surprised if they just keep him and evaluate off-season for bench fit/cost.
Well let me correct. I don't think a low second is low balling for Burks. I think that's par for the course for a streaky shooter limited defensively player of Burks caliber. I think the Warriors are hoping for a high second which will probably never come. I think maybe evaluating Burks for possible off-season re-sign may be of more value to the Warriors than Philly's own second round pick.
It's confusing and counter-intuitive, but a low 2nd rounder is one of the last picks in the draft, while a high 2nd rounder ends up being closer to the 1st round. High = nearer the beginning of the draft, while low = nearer the end of the draft.
Little meta question: I know victory threads were a long time custom at GSOM. Should we keep doing these fast post game threads? Or is the game thread enough below a certain number of comments? If so, what number of comments?
I like the quick victory threads so you can talk post-game observations about the game as a whole. Where as the game thread is mostly for during the game/in the moment observations.
Thank you, this is good feedback. I mean, this isn’t exactly scientific because I’m asking about post-game thread preferences INSIDE A POSTGAME THREAD, but I still want to know
I don't know - just feel different. Kind of like celebrating at work versus going out with colleagues.
Having said that, if it's more work for you guys or say the company which hosts this website charges by articles, then it can makes sense to do what you suggested.
All we have lined up is the Clippers boys. I think the Kings blog has something coming, but I've had a real hard time finding high quality team blogs outside of Vox
Wait, we're getting SoL summaries right in the article threads here? That's great!
A win! Woohoo!

My god, those game stats...those are like Prime Dynasty numbers! 39 assists? 18/35 3's? 11 steals and 10 blocks? Getting outrebounded?
Brings up a tear of nostalgia--and a snarl of anticipation.
I'll get this up in the main thread Luna, keep posting for us!!!
Still the same old Cavs
Cavs need Austin Rivers
Nay, he is going to the Magic to join Malone...(old joke in here; very, very, old joke)
Who gets Asik?
The Warriors come out after halftime and put the foot down. Third quarter domination, just like old times.
And Dray sits all of 4th quarter!!

Second! Like having these if I miss the game but jump here shortly after, dont have to scroll to talk overall game recap

Victory threads please!
Any specific reasons?

Either way, I appreciate what all you guys do.
Nah, the only struggle is divorcing ourselves from the SEO world where we need a certain number of words, with links and game scores etc.
This thread took me like 5 or 10 minutes. It's really not a big deal as long as we are all cool with not having a full on recap
that is: not having a full on recap till tomorrow. But it's comin'!
Thanks for the clarification. For a moment, I wanted my money back 😉
I should mention, also, helps losing team fans who come over to praise and cry....won't really be a factor till you get the other 29 sites up! :-)
All we have lined up is the Clippers boys. I think the Kings blog has something coming, but I've had a real hard time finding high quality team blogs outside of Vox
Clippers are gonna be using the same platform?
Clippers fans I should say
Gloating. Bravado. Morale. Demoralize loser for next game. Just some healthy "gushing".
What is this Victory that people speak of? I am not familiar with these strange customs
Yah, like, wha...??
Winners!! 🎉🎊
Well atleast of this game! 😀
Somebody that is real good in Math figure out the assist-TO ratio tonight? HINT 39/11= ?
3.54545454545454545...
That is a very precise ratio. Love it!
Wow! The ENTIRE team has registered a higher assist-TO ratio than Harden ever did in his entire career!
