While we’re on the subject of not-tonight’s-game: I enjoyed a lot of the rookie performances last night. Mobley, Green, Duarte … so many rookies started or got real minutes. A strong class, I hope Kuminga and Moody feel the competitive heat. Still we are damn fortunate that our rookies are high picks but not our best players.
With all this Laker and Nets media noise, it's a bit notable that the reigning champ Bucks brought back the squad healthy, Giannis still improving, and they typically are listed as merely a 4th or so best team. If I were a betting man and had to pick one team to win it all ... prove they shouldn't be it.
Coach Nick of BBALLBREAKDOWN did a deep dive into the “Russell Westbrook problem” after hhis showing verses GSW 😁. It’s mandatory viewing if you like seeing RW exposed as overrated. https://youtu.be/OAhylgz1uOA
Not to tempt fate but we have an excellent shot at going 10-2 or better by the time 8-game home stand is done. Hopefully Steph and Dray don't fvck around during these next 11 games.
Zubac and the other bigs need to be slowed tonight but it doesn't really matter, I don't see the Clips having the bench depth or 3pt shooting to hang if our fellas are having an on game. In celebration of the 75th season/home opener, let's get after it!!! #redemptiontour2021 #strengthinnumbers #dubnation

If we do better than 17-40 in the first quarter tonight, are we favored over the Bucks?
I predict a big game from Steph and Otto Porter Jr.
I also think this could be a blowout for us.
So Clippers won't have:
Kawhi Leonard- recovering from torn ACL
Jason Preston- out due to foot surgery
Serge Ibaka- out due to back injury
Nicolas Batum- out due to personal reasons
Keon Johnson- out due to illness

The bad news: Oubre was 2 of 9 on 3PA’s
The good news: No one’s going to put him in a box

BTW I love the replacement of the rakuten ad on the Dub's jerseys with the DNHQ "patch". Staying true to the no-ads ethos of this place.

In case you guys were wondering, here's Barnes going off for 36 yesterday including 6/6 from 3 in the 3rd quarter https://youtu.be/A037PReHO5Y
Official season prediction: we will go 22-0 on games where we shoot over 38% from 3 as a team

mmm hmm, all good to go tonight

No injury report surprises for the Warriors tonight in home opener vs Clippers. Jordan Poole not even listed after that ankle twist the other night.
