GT is about to go up, but in light of the convo here earlier, this Monte Poole article seems pretty pertinent

Kuka doesn't require 3 HOF'ers as back up, neither does Giannis, KD. Wiggs isn't in that league. A good player, yes, but with the HOF'ers out periodically we need another HOF performance from him.

Random numbers (vernacular) to satisfy my curiosity. Of all the US TEAMS teams with THE TOO 6 winning records, 9 are in red states and 4 are in the 8 blue states. Both first places are in red states, both second placers are in blue states. All other winning-record teams are in red states, except both #6 are in blue states. Conclusions…not good with numbers, off to bake bread.

Hmmm... betting line moved from Minny as 1.5 point favorite to Warriors as 2.5 point favorite. Anybody know something I don't? Edwards listed as questionable... but other than that, the Warriors have been a middle of the road playoff team for a while, and Minny at home.

hey folks, it's been a while so I forgot who asked, but Substack finally replied back about the new collapsed thread format. Bottom line is the new style isn't optional, but they're forwarded the request to the UI team.

> Hi there,

Lionel from Substack Support here. Thanks for reaching out, and for your patience.

Now that the layout of comments has been changed, there is no way to view fully expanded comment threads without clicking into them, but I think being able to toggle between the two is a great suggestion!

I've gone ahead and passed this thread along to the product team. We're always looking for ways to improve, so I appreciate the note.

If there's anything else I can help with, I'm here.

With kindness,

I hope the Warriors are ready, because the T-Wolves shot very well against the Cavaliers last night. They had a 55% FG percentage and 43% three-point percentage.

I like JA Morant I really do and my hope is always that a new generation of bball players continually supersedes the generation before them. There will always be exceptions that transcend space and time ie Michael Jordan, but I digress

The media seems really really really desperate to usurp Curry with Morant. I’ve seen 4 prominent media talking heads (not necessarily the Nick Wright) types) directly compare Morant with Curry and state that Morant has passed Curry. My question is: what the heck did Curry do to hurt these people man. It started with Trae Young and now the flavor of the season is Ja Morant and he’s the chosen one to dethrone Curry. Like why can’t we enjoy Ja and Curry for the singular talents that they are?

Having given this several seconds of thought I believe the Warriors should make the following trades:

JTA for Giannis: Giannis is younger, bigger, stronger and the more reliable shooter

Poole for Ja: Ja gives them the true backup point guard they really need and he is still young

Bjelica for Jokic, Embiid or KAT: Looney has been great but the Warriors need a more solid backup center

Lee for Doncic: Doncic has the size to play multiple positions and can handle the ball if Curry and Ja need some rest

Somebody else can work out the salary cap issues.
