Honestly, even though it was a painful game to watch (I didn't stick around for the 4th quarter) It's hard to get upset about it. The Warriors are what everybody expected them to be; a marginal playoff team that probably won't survive past the 1st round if they get there. Their primary weakness is the lack of a deadly outside shooter that wold take some of the pressure off Curry and open up the paint by forcing defenders out to the 3pt line. I wonder where they can find one of those for next season.

If I were to write a Warriors Therapist column, I would point to (1) knowing Anthony Davis wasn’t playing leading to the human feeling of less urgency or “appropriate fear” (too strong a metaphor, though), (2) LeBron not once but TWICE blowing up Draymond plays, although before that we had fooled him on the Oubre dunk, and one of those two times being a runout dunk 94 feet, (3) the fouling, and (4) LeBron willing his teammates to his level of urgency (did you see how serious he was when they got up 30? Like a playoff game!).

I know you’re just reading my “dot dot dot” notes but I think you’re jumping to conclusions. Watch the video and you don’t get that sense. Just a bad game. Of course, we can’t read the minds of the five starters so we’ll never really know: https://youtu.be/2S_empb7NEw
