Forgot to mention in the above, now that TK addressed it on Twitter and now that I’m not tweeting anymore, is that with Oubre or Baze never checking Fox, that was a clear indication to me that this was a development Summer League-ish game. The lack of Looney and Oubre/Baze for critical strategic moments was the tell. But Kerr can’t really say that, you know? That would be disrespectful to Luke Walton (in public) and the Kings (and Fox).
Next time Friedell is on 95.7 I’m gonna see if they’ll take my call - tell him lay our man Oubre. What kind of jerk asks if you are willing to come off the bench, then next asks if you will take less money. geez.
