How are the Magic and Houston trying to exercise the same type of game plan which is to go out and try to physically beat the shat out of their opponent
important question: is a team sporting event determined by the team thats better or worse? the rockets seem to be controlling the game style - is it because of defense or just that they are a shitty basketball team in the guise of a football team!
The latter. I’m genuinely not even sure that I’m watching basketball when we play the Rockets. I’m all for “playoff intensity” but we seem to have gone well past that at this point.
I trust Celebrini. I hope he doesn't let Jimmy talk him into playing game 3 if Celebrini is leaning toward holding him out until game 4. Having two extra days to recover rather than jumping right back in and potentially aggravating it could be the difference in longer term playoff success.
Wow, Lakers haven’t won a series in which they trailed 2-1 in over 20 years? Losers. The Warriors do that in their sleep — off the top of my head I can think of five times in the last decade? (Grizz 2015, Cavs 2015, Thunder 2016, Celtics 2022, Kings 2023)
Very impressive offensive game from Jaden McDaniels. He's really improved his long ball and seems to have improved his rim finishing as well. Probably the #1 two way wing in the league right now over Bridges, Anunoby and Wiggins(in that order) Obviously they have better stats but Jaden is at least 3 years younger than all of them.
Steph, Ant, Jimmy, Draymond, <insert random center/forward> would be the #1 offense and #1 defense in the NBA by a wide margin, and seriously give prime dynasty Dubs a run for their money.
They still might have taken Wiseman. Lacob was in love with him, like he is with JK now.
Overall I think he's one of the best owners in the league because he's willing to spend whatever it takes, but it would be much better for the team if he removed himself from talent evaluation.
The word at the time was that the Dubs loved Ant and that Minnie was interested in Wiseman as well as Ant. If we had #1, we might have taken Ant. Had the Wolves not taken Ant, they probably would have taken JW, and we'd get Ant.
Just imagine if the Wolves had taken Wiseman number one and left Ant for us. It would make for an awesome argument as to which draft was worse for them - giving us Steph or Ant 😂

If JB plays tomorrow it will be with the full blessing of the medical team, I'm pretty confident in that
Manny Pacquia Mario Barrios. Who you got?
Kerr trusts Celebrini too. If the doc says no, it will be no.

I think that might be all of them. The only other series we trailed and didn’t win, that i can think of, was 2019 Raps and 2023 Lakers

We gotta beat up the Rockets tomorrow!
Obviously, I mean, beat the Rockets.
After tonight:
Celtics up 2-1 after Magic beat the Celtics
Pacers up 2-1 after Bucks beat the Pacers
Wolves up 2-1 after they beat the Lakers
Celtics and Lakers fall. Excellent.
Man, if we had drafted Ant.
Steph, Ant, Jimmy, Draymond, <insert random center/forward> would be the #1 offense and #1 defense in the NBA by a wide margin, and seriously give prime dynasty Dubs a run for their money.
Sure, but if we had drafted Ant most likely everything plays out so differently that the Jimmy trade doesn't happen.
I'd be fine with that if it meant we've had Ant the past 5 seasons.
I agree! I was simply responding to the implication that we would definitely still have Jimmy
Yeah but he went #1 so we never had a shot at him.
I know. So close yet so far.
Will have to settle for just the 4 (soon to be 5) ringz.
Lakers lose. You hate to see it.
This hate-watching thing is a lot of fun.
Game tied with a few minutes left … Lakers supposed to have the huge edge in playoff experience, execution, and high IQ playmaking.
Suck it, Lakers.
Why couldn't you have just taken Wiseman, Minnesota
Ant is awesome but I don’t regret Minny taking him first overall. We owed them big time… twice… and once more for Wiggs
Even more galling for me is that at the time I was thrilled Minny took Edwards and didn’t steal Wiseman from us. 😞
Hold the phone. Are you trying to claim that Anthony Edwards is having a better NBA career than James Wiseman? Is that your claim???? Wow.
This is the only downside of watching Ant be awesome. I keep imagining what it would have been like had the Dubs gotten the #1 pick instead of #2.

And one of the Lacob sons was also into Smailagić. They’d make terrible GMs.
Sigh.
ANT!!!
2028-2033 MVP
I’d be pretty okay losing to the Wolves if we advance. Very likable team (outside of Gobert).
I can live with us losing to the Wolves, Thunder, or Nuggets.
But please not to the Lakers, Clippers, or these punk-@$$ Rockets.
Absolutely, for me it's no comparison to how I'd feel losing to the Lakers.
Ant and Conley how can you not like them. But we gonna crush them if it comes to it, let us agree on that
Ant has a myriad of issues off the court. Conley seems great. I still like Donte and Naz Reid is fun though.
Oh definitely Naz Reid. Fun to watch.
dray and gobert = equally likable
NBA players seem to like Draymond a lot more than Gobert
also, Lebron is at 2.2% out of 90 votes = Steph did not get a single vote is seems - thats really bad \s
Yes, i would agree with that. However, they also called Dray highly overrated - very weird, since JB was also on that list
Like three people called him highly overrated, one of them was probably Gobert lol
and Dray = Ja = Randle = all the same within one decimal point in being overrated :=)
halli and gobert more overrated than Dray and JB though!

oops - i did not realize you had inside info on those 3
Ant looking damned good on both ends rn
NAZ reid = going from warriors killer to Cali killer!
