Soooo....... Marc Gasol said he would come back to the US in the right scenario. Would 12 minutes/game for the playoff Dubs for a shot at a 'chip be enticing?
Then sub in Kuminga, Looney, Poole and GP2 to go with Moody for the young guns plus D lineup to ride for most of the game if there’s no obvious hot hand.
Put in a dose of Q if needed but leave Choizza out of this one.
I actually liked Kuminga’s pass out of bounds when D. Lee’s defender was standing out on the 3 point line looking at Kuminga. Lee lazily standing on the 3 point line when he should have been cutting to the basket shouldn’t be the default. I hope Kuminga doesn’t take the wrong lesson from that turnover.
- Klay is in the flow, regardless of his stat line (FAIL)
- Wiggs stays aggressive, hits FT (CHECKFAIL- aggressive yes, but not successful, and 1 of 2 on FT)
- GP2 looks like GP2 (INCONCLUSIVE- 5 minutes without the usual impact but didn't look bad)
- Draymond plays the whole game (CHECK)
Conclusion: they're still a bit discombobulated, but almost won. They're gonna surprise us with a victory one of these days, and hopefully that leads to them coming together in time for the return of Threesus.
The problem with Wiggins island is that he gets stranded there whenever he misses time and gets out of rhythm. His habits aren’t elite and his default offense is soft iso ball stopper. So, unfortunately, are Klay’s habits right now. With those two out there on their own islands the offense is very mid 90’s esq. with extra 3 point shooting. Not going to win much with that in today’s NBA.
What is Warriors offensive efficiency ranked in the NBA without Curry? It must bottom 10 or bottom 5 of the league or something. Warriors had an offensive efficiency at #8 after the Wizards game. Now after the three losses, they are now ranked #13.
I'm worried about Wiggin's focus level and mental toughness. I don't trust him to hang in there and not get rattled when things gets tough in the playoffs. Really hope he proves me wrong but it seems to me he's in his own head too much sometimes
Klay is over eager to win and get this year to where he was pre injury. And he has a point - if he isn't close to what he was, we arent winning it all let alone clear WCF.
But still he needs to let just come to him. He will get there. Just not sure if there is enough time left for this year
The thing that worries me about all these 3 point shooting fouls from Klay is that we were seeing the same thing from Livingston in his final year. At the time it felt like an indication that Livingston was just cooked physically.
Warriors drop third in a row as Magic stun them in Florida
man, how awesome would it have been if we went 18-18 to start the season, and *then* went on our 29-7 tear.
Quite a few seeding order impacting games today.
Let's go Nets, Celtics, Rockets, Suns (yuk), Lakers (double yuk).
And LGW!
We lost by 4 last night and missed 5 free throws. Just saying.

Might have to settle for a lot of moral victories to end the regular season.
Got a feeling about tonight. Completely irrational, but I feel like they're going to play well and be in it at the end.
The Golden State Warriors have a record of 54-49 without Draymond Green since 2014-15.

The Golden State Warriors have a 44-85 record without Stephen Curry since 2014-15.

Lineup suggestions for the coaches tonight:
Poole, GP2, Wiggins, Kuminga, Looney to start
Bring in JTA and Bjelica for Looney and Kuminga
Bring in Moody and Lee for Poole and GP2
Then sub in Kuminga, Looney, Poole and GP2 to go with Moody for the young guns plus D lineup to ride for most of the game if there’s no obvious hot hand.

Checking in...
