Big O for sure. He has a history of success even when the chanes were slim. For example, he put our high school team on his back and carried us to the State Championship not once but twice after Melo left. We won back to back CIF State Championships. Next he attended an unranked University and made an immediate impact! He moves the floor well and has a respectable mid range game. This combined with ALL of his intangibles makes his upside infinte.

For once, Twitter agrees with LGW, with 61.2% for Okongwu. He's going to cruise into the semifinals unless some very unlikely voting happens in next few hours.

Okonguwu based on position of need and size.

Going with Okongwu this time.

Another ridiculous matchup. Who in their right mind wouldn't take Okongwu given the choice? Why even bother putting up these choices when they don't make any sense or have any legs in reality? You are just plain bored.

Okongwu. Size trumps bad shooting.

I kinda like Okongwu. I think the wins they've found with mid size "tweeners" bodes well for him. They took a flyer on Dray and Paschall, both guys who fell because of concerns about what their exact role would be.

After looking through all of these, I have reaffirmed my initial analysis: I don't have a clue what the Warriors are going to do

This one is really tough... I think pragmatically it comes down to whether you're higher on Hayes' shooting or Okongwu's defense, and even that is a toss up for me. I think I go w/ Okongwu just because for this team a switchable defensive minded big would be a better fit, though I wouldn't be surprised if Hayes ends up as the better player.

Seems that the grades are relatively equal, so it comes down to: does one go Big or Guard??

My vote is Okongwu.

I guess my Pac-12 Homer’s dream would be seeing the Warriors trade back and somehow end up with Okongwu and Terry.

I liked what I saw out of Okongwu in the games I got to see him play on TV. I’m not an SC fan but he played with effort, he made in game adjustments well, he had the athleticism and the smarts to succeed at any level. His basketball smarts would be a great fit with the Warriors. If this were a decision between him and Wiseman I’d take Okongwu 100 out of 100 times. Since it’s a matchup with a 29% 3ptfg guard I’ll take him 1 of 1 in this matchup.

He’s one of the reasons Pac-12 basketball was significantly better than the trash product of the past decade this year. I wouldn’t have taken Aton last year, I would be happy taking Okongwu this year.

This is so hard. I'm going with Okongwu because based on a couple articles, this kid is willing to do the dirty work like setting screens and getting rebounds. Hard, tough nosed interior players opening things up for Curry and Thompson is a necessity. Also a Bam comp? I'm all for it.

I second the opinion that this is the closest matchup thus far in the 2nd. And also give my vote for Okongwu. Although his shooting can do some work, and I would prefer a better shooting big, Hayes doesn't bring much at 29% from distance. Okongwu's athleticism and defense seems off the charts and I can see him playing well alongside Curry, Thompson, Green, and Wiggins. Sure, there's potential that Hayes can develop his shot looking at his ft%, but if you consider that we need impact immediately, think Okongwu will contribute more in the short term.

This is the closest (for me personally) matchup of the second round. Although Hayes is intriguing, I have recently been enlightened to the fact that although he could be a great player, taking him on would be a project (his three ball needs tweaking especially) as opposed to ideally selecting a player that could help the Dubs win now.

Moreover, my vote this round will stick with my personal favorite player for the Warriors to draft in Okongwu. This guy is the embodiment of the big man of the future. I don't think any other player screams "Bam Adebayo" other than this guy (well, except for Bam Adebayo). Sign me up for Okongwu.
