Totally off topic, but I really hope the Warriors never invite Stephen Jackson to any future events.

Halliburton - seems like a lock to be a steady rotations piece at worst. I could see Edwards really busting after watching a couple of his college games. He also could be better than Hallburton....

Haliburton has inched ahead in the weighted poll, 50.8% to 49.2% thanks to the onslaught of Haliburton Army votes in the LGW comments. The poll could really go either way right now. Twitter poll closes in 17 hours.

For the next few years with shooting and willing, capable defense will still be paramount. I’ll vote Haliburton even if it reminds me of Dick Cheney.

Anthony Edwards is a BEAST on the Glass! He is always outscoring & he's a great TEAM PLAYER he makes winning easy as long as everybody on the same accord of WINNING!

Halliburton is a better shooter, passer, defender, has a much higher floor and is a pretty sure bet to be a better player right away and for the first couple years. Edwards upside is all based on the theory of a guy with that frame, with those feet, figuring out how to be a volume scorer, creator and defender. It’s all theoretical upside because he’s not that good at any of it now. And if we’re just talking theoretically I can imagine Halliburton tweaking his mechanics to get an off the dribble jumper, gaining 20 lbs and becoming more of a scoring threat.

Due to the landslide Haliburton vote here at LGW, Edwards only leads TH in the weighted vote by 53.5% - 46.5%. The upset is within reach.

I thought this would be more controversial, but I gotta go Haliburton... I just don't get the Edwards hype. Seems like a short, off-brand version of Wiggins, and even if Wiggins does end up working out for us, he's already 7 years into his career and on his second team. Definitely not a draft success story. Yeah, I think for the warriors right now, gotta go higher floor (debatably) lower ceiling.

I'm in the mode, given the lack of elite talent, to take the best shooters who happen also to have NBA bodies. Unless Wiseman turns out to be the second coming of David Robinson, I honestly think the upside in this draft is not much higher than Kyle Korver (not to belittle Korver - he's excellent - but not really a foundational player). Not in favor of the NBA bodies who can't shoot and won't defend. GS has plenty of low 30's three point shooters already. I have concerns about Haliburton's release point and shot form, but at least his shots go in a lot. And his passing is magical. Definitely an upgrade at the backup point. So I say trade down and take the guy with a killer three point shot who also can and will defend - Saddiq B . . . I mean Haliburton.

If you like athletic players who have tons of potential and think that all there glaring faults on defensive end can be coached out of by the warriors coaching staff the. Guess what.... we already have Wiggins to fill that roll. What this group of players need is a HIGH IQ players that can contribute immediately and also be a long term cornerstone for the franchise Anthony Edwards with all his physical talent has yet to master the game inside the lines , and until he does he is nothing more then Tyrek Evens light. He may put up goddy numbers on a celler dweller , but on a team with title hopes I honestly don’t see him contributing as anything more then a 6th man scoring option off the bench . 5 years down the road that may change but I just don’t see it now Vote Haliburton
