I think GP2's dad was Shawn Kemp... just saying.

GPII is >>>>>>> Bradley.

Does the cutting and re-signing reset his bird rights clock?

Bjelica and YG seem like they can become almost as much like PB&J as the Splash bros.

I love how much fun this team is having. Starters, when on the bench, are going wild for the vet min players. Draymond telling Kerr to stop pouting and have some fun. Crowd is going crazy for the 15th roster spot. I’m still nervous for what happens when we play a top team with a lockdown defense, but these games are giving the dubs a lot of confidence, cohesion, and belief that they can lean on later in the season.

If gp2 was a true rookie, playing on a team that has home court advantage in playoffs, goes deep into playoffs...10 points per game, 20 solid rotation min. Per game, average couple of steals per game...would he be a likely rookie of the year candidate?

Before the season most everyone thought the Lakers would be top of the West with the Warriors being a 6-8th seed. 9 games into the season, it's the opposite.

>>Imagine how many games they could have won so far if they actually had an “A-grade” offseason…

Wow, the hits on D3 just keep coming. I expect a reply is forthcoming in the next preview write-up. What you got, Duby?

Well, they had me just a little bit uneasy for a couple times there, but in the end it all worked out. Got a nice comfortable win with decent amounts of rest for everyone and some really awesome moments.

GP2 continues to be hilariously, freakishly good. Not sure how much is the team and how much is him individually but he feels like he's unlocked another level lately.

Poole had a sweet, hot start. He clearly saw early on how to carve up the Houston defense and earned himself some easy points off of it.

OPJ had his best Warriors game yet. That 3-3-steal-3 sequence was huge and nearly blew the roof off. Plus boards and defense, a heck of a game for him.

Bjelica and Steph had their hands on that 3Q run that broke the game open. Lot of good subtle plays there. Speaking of which, Wiggins has been setting some big screens this season, which I don't remember being part of his game before. But on the Warriors he's getting pretty good at it (Unlike KD, who would rather slip a screen every time...) Maybe I just didn't notice before? Regardless, that's another way he's contributing beyond his fated number of points.

Props to JTA for scoring some much-needed points late in the 4th to get us to Kuminga Time instead of unexpected crunch time when the rest of the "not quite garbage time" lineup went cold.

Oh yeah, that Green guy played pretty well too.

Kuminga should be played in GPs role when he plays with the big boys let him ball handle n develop in g league

GP2 IS a problem. He's just not our problem. I cannot recall a more impactful defensive player. Not even Green who is a giant, defensively, comes near what Payton does.

Good Beli game. We need a high volume of 3PAs from him and OPJ to unlock guys like JTA/GP2/Draymond. Poole was also good, though I expect this level from him against teams like the Rockets who don't do a good job of guarding off-ball. Still want to see more on-ball creation action (and hopefully success for him). He had a very nifty mid-range pullup today, would love to see more of that, especially as he is often unable to create separation on drives to the hoop in isolation situations (not being able to beat Sengun in a 1v1 ain't exactly great).

On the negative side, Loon looks cooked. The guy is moving slower than ever. Hoping he gets better as the seasons goes on like last year, but if he's playing like this we can't give him any playing time when things actually matter against good teams.

Bjelica first 5 games: 1/4 3PA, cumulative +/- +6. Last 4: 9/14 3P, +/- +81.

GPII +/- in last 3 games +68

I'm a big Looney defender, but are we positive Bjelica with the starters wouldn't be better?

I love how Andre pretended to be washed with Miami, but was really just saving himself for one last run with his boys.

I really like Clayton Crowley on YouTube. The "Making the Case" for the 2017 Warriors just dropped: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iX74hnZG2E&ab_channel=ClaytonCrowley
