My thoughts have been wandering towards the future of this team and its coaching. Kerr seems like the choice for a very long time ala Popovich, Red Auerbach. It would be hard to find a better guy. But, I keep wondering what guys like Draymond and Iggy would be like as head coaches. Both are extremely smart players who 'see' the game. This is an essential ingredient in a good coach. If Kerr ever tires of his job, do you think it's possble that the Warriors go with one of the two of Dray and Dre?

I thought the bubble Nuggets were super entertaining. Let us recall it was at a more acute time of the pandemic, NBA fun if not fun in general was hard to come by, the Dubs were not there; so I decided to just enjoy the games and root for entertainment, not a team. The Nuggets were hella entertaining. Remember Jamal Murray and Donovan Mitchell swapping 50-pieces? Jokic finding people open before they knew they were? OK he always does that but he was playing really well; and MPJ showing up like "OK I've barely played in the NBA but for all we know I might be outstanding here lemme hit some threes." Fun team. I miss Jamal especially, amazing scorer. Very fun team.

Klay is scoring way more efficiently at home than on the road, but also scoring more efficiently with 2+ days rest compared to 1 day rest. Which Klay split wins out tonight?

OK. So, JRich... Baron on AK47 re-enactment... Webber on Chuck?

I'm hoping that the team that held the Nuggets to 29 points in two quarters shows up tonight and not the team that allowed 60 points in two quarters.

Any chance we see more JTA tonight? I'd like to see his energy and movement out there with Poole. Seems like Kerr has been trying to find a secondary offense that clicks, and JTA is not part of that for some reason? Am I imagining things?

Watching his rookie highlights and getting excited again. I have no doubt in my mind the Wise Guy will eventually turn into something special. I think people are discounting his ability to help the team out this year too. As we know by now Draymond is not the type to hold anything back and if he felt like we were in a bad spot with the roster it would have been heard by now. Hell yeah it's frustrating to watch us get bullied in recent weeks and yeah I'd prefer for us to sign a big man too but I'm going to trust the team that went to the Finals 5 years straight when healthy. (At least until they give me a reason not to)

I’m not tripping on a win vs loss tonight, I’d just like to see a bounce back game on defense

I'm ready for rising star Kuminga to lead us into the all-star break with a win over a Denver team that will probably be almost as checked out as the Dubs.

Facing the Nuggets, it's as good a time as any to bring up a classic debate. Who do you think is the best big man in the game at this time in league history? Big man is defined as big power forward or center. Includes offense and defense, any stats you think matter. Assume healthy, which is a big break for Embiid. My order is: Giannis, Jokic, Embiid. Super close. Giannis is a proven winner, the hardest working man in the game, and his defense is just as elite as his offense. He can't shoot like the other two guys but his passing is improving this year. Jokic is just as good a scorer as the other two but outclasses them and pretty much everyone in the world in the passing game, yet doesn't really measure up on defense. Embiid is having a hell of a scoring season and is a great defender but he isn't the overall offensive threat like Jokic. I guess Gobert is a more distant fourth, then Towns?
