lol 700 comments?! For a dry fire free agency? Love to see it!
Gonna put up a quick game thread to keep the comment count reasonable - but just btw, does anyone notice any issues when the comment count gets this high? Seems to run fine for me!
I'll be interested to see where Chicago ends up in the standings now because they just got a helluva lot better today. Bulls [19-24] are currently in 10th behind the Pacers [20-23]. Charlotte is in 4th at 22-21 and Boston is 8th at 21-23. All that can change in a couple of games for all of those teams. The parity the NBA is said to have been wanting for years. It is making things wildly unpredictable.
I think a lot of teams missed out on Kyle Lowry - he could've really taken the Clippers/Bucks/Sixers to proper contention levels along with the Lakers and Nets.
I'm happy Wana is gone. Somewhat sad that Chriss is gone but it's pretty unimportant in the grand scheme of things. We kept Oubre which indicates we're probably re-signing him in the offseason which I'm happy with.
The Magic got a decent haul for Vuc and AG, including a likely lotto pick this year and a FRP in 2023 and 2025. Good on them for finally realizing their joyless team needed a teardown.
The Heat got Oladipo in the least surprising trade of all time lol.
Kings got some nice depth. Denver got AG but I doubt how much of a needle-mover he actually is.
I think waiting til the offseason and seeing if any all star demands a trade. Ben Simmons or KAT could be available. I doubt we ever use the Min pick. We going to get a legit 3rd All star. Just waiting til the right one wants outs.
As someone said below, the Chriss Saga > the Twilight Saga at this point. Can they really be cutting him or trading him while injured for the second year in a row, and still eventually sign him again? As unlikely as it seems, it seems possible, and that this move could be explained as "this will help us save 3-4 million and sign you again in the future."
Warriors at Kings: What does development look like?
Was this a comment section record for LGW?
alright, we moving: https://www.letsgowarriors.com/p/draymond-green-mychal-mulder-both
Remember, the most basic sports fan way to alleviate pain is to dunk on the Kings!
Sure, the Warriors didn't do anything, but the Kings made all sorts of moves and somehow managed to be the exact same team

Bobby Marks claimed that only 6 teams had cap space this summer, which was why getting bird rights was key (he was talking about Oladipo).
After the trade deadline, does anyone else besides those 6 have cap space to be an Oubre competitor? And presumably Miami doesn't anymore?

That was a boring trade deadline.

I would have been okay with acquiring Danny Green if we had used to the opportunity to break his kneecaps.
ah here ya go:

> The two Golden State trades will save them a projected $11M toward the luxury tax.
> They also will create a $2.25M and $1.8M trade exception.

If we don't get someone in the buyout market trading Chriss was incredibly dumb
