Nesmith and Bey... That's seriously unfortunate. They're the two shooting bigs we could really use.

It's a shame that Nesmith was matched up with the most controversial big man in the draft. Why not match up Wiseman with another big? How can we really compare Nesmith with Wiseman, two players who would have different roles and skills that don't really overlap. For me, Nesmith makes a very positive case for the Warriors to trade down and possibly grab two competitive players that will solidify the team presently, and for the future.

Yep, that was bad luck. But I make the rankings through averaging draft expert picks, so it was out of my hands

Twitter never fails to disappoint when it comes to these type of polls. Aaron Nesmith by a long shot assuming we trade back and get another asset

Yeah, I think Nesmith was possibly my favorite option overall? Fortunately Twitter isn't making the actual team's draft choices...

To be fair, drafting for sheer talent is probably one of the most reliable draft strategies. Other stuff, like character, work ethic, and team fit are much harder to see in advance with any level of confidence. And talent, especially really obvious talents like height and shooting percentage, contribute to a player's trade value later, so there's incentive to rate those traits higher than more nebulous but critical traits like "defensive stopper" and "team player."
