Glad to see Steph add more hardware to help his case as the GOAT, beating Paul Pierce in the players poll again is huge! I sincerely think Steph should be in the All-time #1 conversation and some more great play-off moments would be very helpful.

But

Did the NBA get this right? Steph shot extremely efficiently in the clutch there’s no doubt. But the Warrior’s points per possession in the clutch wasn’t great and neither was their record.

Should clutch turnovers be factored in to this award?

The killer in this game is that it very quickly becomes obvious that the Lakers are never in it, even with the lead. Because Denver never played with any kind of worry or panic.

Darvin Ham having a job as an NBA head coach is still insane to me. He should be a players development coach or some form of assistant. He’s probably a nice players coach but it’s so obvious he can’t compete with any playoff caliber coach

The team, with LeBron's blessing of course, advocated for his hiring after scapegoating Vogle for mishandling Westbrook, losing, etc. Just the chickens coming home to roost. It amuses me how LeBron got lucky with one coach (Lue) he got to replace another, and thought he was the coach whisperer.

Watched Knicks-Sixers. Not exactly beautiful, but even with all that grindage and FT mania I enjoyed it. Sixers pulled away on crazy Embiid 3 point shooting (yes, WTF??!!) but NYC kept threatening to close.

Embiid is hard to watch for so many reasons.

It was weird watching him lumber up and hit 4 threes in a row.

Woj said he's dealing with Bell's Palsy. I was wondering what was going on with his eye. So BP plus a bad knee....but 50 points with 21 fta. 😬😬

The three point shooting has been awful, 18% to 16%. Nuggets outshot 'em.

I haven't reminded myself in five minutes, so here I go again: DeAngelo Russell was traded for Andrew Wiggins and the pick that turned into Jonathan Kuminga.

Missing the playoffs is better than getting swept in first round.

For an aging team it sure is to be in better position for the draft. Being in that purgatory of no high draft pics and no shot to go deep in the playoffs is something we did for a lot of years and it was hard to watch.

That assumes the team has their pick

Beat New Orleans in play in was not a win to remember for the ages

I dunno about that. If nothing else had we gotten to the first round, it would give Podz and Trayce a taste of the playoffs. It wouldn't hurt JK and MM either.
