I don't see any of these happening. All of these guys are expensive, Griffin has problems staying healthy, and it's not clear that any of them move the needle that much. In any case, I'd like to see what Wiggins can do with a new system with Curry, Thompson, Green and Looney on the floor with him. He would be the 3rd option which really ought to translate to a lot of open looks.

I'm hearing a potential trade with the Suns for a pick swap + Oubre for 2nd overall pick. I'm not sure if the Suns would go for that though tbh since they probably want to compete next year.

Nance and 5 I think.. Use pick 5 on Vassell.

The Vucevic option gets my vote. Warriors have never had a C with his skill set. Double double guy who can shoot, spread the floor, and pass. Good BBIQ and longevity. Good for another 5 years. But, $26M salary in 2021. Will the Warriors say yes? I doubt it. Lacob is already complaining about luxury tax.

I also like the Nance option. That guy can flat out play and we still get a high pick to build for the future.

So many possibilities. Myers has his head full, this time.

I would love for us to grab Plumlee or Milsap in Free Agency this year, but i think its more likely for us to grab people like Nerlens Noel and Kris Dunn. If we can grab Noel, Dunn, and GR3 this free agency than our bench would be fantastic moving forward. If we can grab just two of them, I'd be happy tbh. They add much-needed defense/athleticism to this roster and I'll just bank on Steph/Klay/Wiggins + improvements from Paschall/Pool + steady scoring of Damion Lee to keep us solid offensively.

Does trading a rookie after he signs count as a sign and trade in regards to the hard cap?

I don’t see Orlando taking that trade for Vuc but it would be great if they did!

Blake is broken and this trade would cost the Warriors depth and eliminate any non-G league SF talent from the roster. Just garbage.

Nance and the 5 would add NBA depth to the rotation that the Warriors desperately need and would prevent them from taking one of the brutal 3 “top” picks. Win/Win!

Would personally go for option No.4 - same type of trade with Vuc for Aaron Gordon instead.

I would love to grab Nance. He's an ultra-athletic PF who can stretch the floor and play EXCELLENT defense? Exactly the type of player who'd fit perfectly in a small-ball lineup of Curry-Klay-Wiggins-Nance-Draymond.

I agree on the HELL NO to Griffin. I'm good with Vucevic or Nance - both good players. Getting Nance shouldn't be difficult.

Here's an idea on how to get Vucevicn using the TPE:

I remember seeing several months ago that the Warriors could do a deal with Minnesota for PF James Johnson [with Miami previously], who fits into the TPE. Then they could trade him without those trade constraints to Orlando [probably in rebuild mode with Isaacs out for the year and wanting a high draft pick next year] along with the #2 pick and whatever else works for both sides. Their previous trade partner in Minnesota gets rid of someone they don't want off their roster. And Orlando gets rid of one of their best players [a solid 20 / 10 guy for the last few years] off the team to a good situation, which helps them tank this season. Vucevic does shoot the 3 pretty well. I think he'd be a great fit on the Dubs. And I don't think they want to get rid of Wiggins if they can possibly avoid it.

Don't really know how Vucevic plays with his current team, but... maybe that's fine? Same with Nance.

Hell no on the Griffin trade.

Hard pass on Vooch and Blake. Nance and 5 for 2 is pretty interesting. He adds to the glut of guys who are PF/C, but he's better than either Looney or Chriss. He also managed to play SF in some weird supersize lineups the Cavs used last year with Tristan Thompson and Love that apparently were pretty good.

So he's really versatile defensively, he's smart and efficient offensively and shot the 3 a bit last year. He's a dynamite athlete. That's a pretty good fit!

No clue whether the Cavs view him as movable or if they have a target in the top 2-3.

I don't know a ton about Larry Nance Jr, but I think I'd do that trade. His contract seems reasonable, can contribute right away, he brings that "athleticism" that we keep hearing the Warriors want more of, seems to play decent defense, shoots league average 3, and all we do is move down 3 spots. Unless there's someone we really love at #2, seems reasonable.

No way to make the money work. Either player makes the Warriors better but Vucevic is a better fit since he is a 5 that is equally comfortable at the 4.
