Lets face it, this team is going to be work-in-progress this entire season going into the playoffs. Reason? COMBINATION OF: INJURIES; newbies/rooks/expected inconsistency; undermanned at the rim when facing multiple teams reflecting growth in genuine/multi-dimensional 7 footers; "chemistry" variable demands on players due to roles-in-flux; a bit of coaching fatigue due to continued adjustments with limited bodies; and, other teams -particularly in the West- added talent/growth-in/knowledge of Dubs' (and NBA's "new") game.

Not worried about any of them, nor, any one player. Frankly, a minor miracle we are "hanging" with NBA's 2nd best record. Enough to get us in the playoffs in as good position as we can be; though I must admit, I did harbor surrealistic hope that we caught the Suns with Paul out, and, now, Booker in protocols. Of the top 10 teams in the West, only Dubs and lolakers have losing records the last 10 games; 4-6, and, 3-7, respectively.

My SOLE concern is that we get everyone healthy/game-ready/avoid protocols the next 10 games, that we may have the last 10 games to get everyone out on the floor and try to pull it together before the playoffs.

Tough, but, that is the way the ball has bounced this difficult/strange season.

Just putting this here so I can point back to it in 15 years when Steph’s autobiography comes out and we learn the truth:

- this team runs on joy more than most

- Steph is the fountain that fuels the engine

- Something (my money’s on his parents’ breakup) has him down and distracted

- ergo there is no joy in fogtown

There are obviously lots of other things going on: injuries, unclear roles, only having one undersized center on the roster, a slippery home court, impending climate doom and a plunge into autocracy, wait what was I saying?

Where are the curry screens to get kuminga downhill, where are the wiggins low post touches, where are the GP2 alley oops, we have a lot less movement on offense and alot more stagnant isos and pick and rolls

I've noticed a lot of our plays recently have ended up the ball being swung to looney at the top of the key wide open because everybody crunches into the paint

One take I have is that the Warriors would benefit from finding a way to get Wiggins' production into 4th quarter minutes. It seems to me that a lot of his offense comes in the 1st quarter/half. Some of that may be when Steph is looking to distribute and get others involved (much like I remember when Kevin Durant first arrived). The team seems to look for Steph (and now maybe Klay) at the end of games... and it is sometimes hard for Andrew or Jordan Poole to then get comfortable within the team offense.... just my casual observations...

Looks like Jazz is gonna win this one thanks to their three point shooting.

Rockets forced an overtime against the Jazz with the buzzer beating three pointer by Christian Wood. Rockets have been shooting super well on three pointers tonight. Their FT shooting hasn't been good tonight, however.

OMG I just watched the vid. DRAYMOND HAS CALF MUSCLES.

All this hand wringing and complaining is unnecessary. We good. Dray has calf muscles. I expect some serious jumping now!

Utah plays Houston and Denver plays OKC tonight so I doubt the Warriors get much help. I think we are officially in scoreboard watching season.

ok y'all. Let it go. Who thought the Warriors would be 18-6 without Dray? Seriously, who thought the Warriors would SERIOUSLY, did I say "Seriously?", be in it THIS YEAR for a title. I had assumed that our goal would be 1st round playoff win, advance to Western Conference "GREAT", get further? Didn't see that. This was based on Klay taking a year to become Klay again. And one extra year for the young guys to develop. Don't get me wrong, if the Warriors could get healthy, I do believe they have a shot. But when was the last time Curry-Klay-Dray ACTUALLY played together? Let alone with Wiseman or with any other combination of players? We have a great roster. But random games against Dallas and Minnesota in the regular season don't mean S when you are missing half your playoff rotation. What do those games prove? That Poole, D Lee, GP2, JTA & Belly aren't a championship level 2nd Unit???? NOOOOO Ship.

Truth is, healthy .... we in it.

Not healthy ... we not.

And that my friends is called the NBA.

Like many this stretch is getting me down. Or at least reducing my enjoyment of the games. That Mavs defeat still stings.

I haven't lost confidence in the season overall. Glory was, is, and will be dependent on the health and skill of Steph, Draymond and Klay. Steph, Dray and Klay: the three horsemen of the apocalyptical 21-22 NBA season. We rode in with them, or watched cautiously from the windows as they galloped into town. Yes, they have some help in the form of potshots from behind saloon doors from Loon, Wiggs, OPJ, Poole, JK, GP2, Moody, Lee, JTA, and even Bjeli. And we may get a surprise or two gunslinger riding in yet (Andre, Wiseman) - if they can stay on their horses, point their guns in the right direction, and not stumble on the way.

But we ain't getting off our saddles for another 3 or 4 months.

Klay is in Dallas practicing but is questionable for tomorrow’s game. What’s really up with him? What is this mysterious “general illness” that he has? Could he be hurt but they’re not saying or are being cautious?

Poole and/or Wiggins need to step up and have a big few games or the next several games are going to be real ugly

The NBA landscape is changing - skilled big men are killing the Warriors and will be difficult to overcome even when Draymond returns. Warriors seemed to be intent on staying small. Now the league has plenty of bigs who can spread the floor and/or drive to the basket and take advantage of the small lineups the Warriors throw out.

I feel like our role players (Otto, Poole, Wiggins, Lee, JTA, and even Bjelica) were for the most part playing darn well early this season. Now they all for the most part are stinking it up.

12th dimension chess. Kerr is just screwing around. The players are working the spread. Nobody is really sick or injured. The Dubs aren't giving anyone relevant film to study. Hmmm, have I forgotten anything?
