So it looks like the warriors are almost locked in to the top 5 of the draft with the #1 pick being more than possible at this point. With that being said, what are they going to do with it? I know some here are saying Wiggins + the pick for a star... but realistically who is even available that would be worth it? What about actually using the pick? I don’t watch college basketball so I don’t know the best prospects coming out but it’s getting to that time of the year soon..
Highly encouraging performances last 3 games. Would Love to see the following lineup next year:
PG- Steph Curry
SG- Klay
SF- Wiggins
PF- Draymond
C- Chriss
Backup PG- Poole
Backup SG- 1st Round Draft Pick
Backup SF- GR3 (More and More unlikely by the day)
Backup PF- Paschall
Backup C- Looney
Round Out Roster: 2nd Round Pick, Smiley, Damion Lee, Couple of Free Agent Signees (or Bowman)
I'm sure somewhere there we're going to need a big 7 footer (maybe filled by our 1st round pick with a SG or Wing as our Prime Free Agent/Trade acquisition).
I do like Chriss as our starting Center. Makes our starting lineup super mobile. I understand he'll lose the matchups against the Goberts and Adams of this world but also gives our offense more flexibility on most other nights. You got the shortest guy at 6'3 and the tallest at 6'9
Gotta love that statline from Wiggins. The more of that we see the better the trade's gonna look. And yeah, Dray$ is still a beast, even if he takes it easy a lot more often these days. He's still the most important player to this team and I find it laughable when people act like we can get rid of him or that someone like Ben Simmons would make him superfluous.
Unless chriss develops a consistent 3 point shot to become a stretch 5 I dont see him as a starter as he's too small to go against the bigger centers in the league. If he keeps playing like this though he'll be more than a legitimate backup

Daniel, who did the illustration?
That game was perfect...Chriss and Wiggins played well...Green didn't get hurt and the Warriors lost.

Daniel?? Too soon man!!
> The Achilles heel for the Warriors (besides Kevin Durant’s actual Achilles)....
