JK and Mood just started their G League game at Chase Center, first shot of the game JK buries a 3. (No place to watch the game, just looking at box scores.)
More on topic for tonight's game, the PPG leaders this year so far are the Charlotte Hornets, at 117.5 PPG. They are the league leaders in three point percentage (41.1%) and third in assists per game (behind us and the Spurs). They take good care of the ball and are 26th in turnovers. (Sigh).
On the downside, their DRtg as per bballref is 28th (we're 3rd) and eFG% against (25th). So we should be able to score some points.
So far this early season Steph has been scoring leader on the Warriors all six games. Not surprising, duh. I checked last season and here are the leading scorers NOT SC30 and their point totals in those games:
Paschall (19), Wiggins (17), Wiggins (22), Wiseman (25), Oubre (40), Bazemore (26), Oubre (25, no Steph), Paschall (18), Poole (26, no Steph), Wiggins (15), Poole (23), Wiggins (40 no Steph), Poole (26, no Steph), Oubre (24, no Steph), Wiggins (26, no Steph), Wiggins (29, no Steph), Wiggins (15, no Steph), Oubre (24), Wiggins (38), Poole (38)
Totals:
Wiggins (8x)
Oubre (4x)
Poole (4x)
Paschall (2x)
Wiseman
Bazemore
Record: 8-12
Record with Steph scoring leader: 31-21 (49 wins prorated to 82 games)
Not sure where I'm going with this but maybe some interesting factoids there... three day layoffs suck!
"Porter [...] was asked what makes the Warriors' chemistry so much better than other teams around the NBA."
"It starts with Steph," Porter told reporters Tuesday. "Being around our leader just allows for you to be comfortable. It allows for you to be who you are and play to the best of your abilities and put you in the right position. Like I said, coach [Steve] Kerr has done a great job of implementing that to the new guys that come in. You know, play your game within our system."
Draymond Jr. feeds the post a lot more reliably and accurately than half the league. Charlotte is definitely scary. It's not just LaMelo. Scary Terry Rozier is back and when he's on a roll that guy's a walking bucket. Gordon Hayward is a walking question mark. Has been both near-great and terrible depending on injuries and situation. This is a tricky game but a prediction about Oubre: he's a guy who seems to get in his own head too easily. Wouldn't surprise me if he played poorly, especially shooting, since it is a road game against the team he played for last year.
Speaking of Draymond - has anyone else noticed that he hasn't gotten a technical foul yet this year? Is he finally growing up? Are we finally going to get to stop worrying that he won't be able to play games after he exceeds 16 technicals?
Draymond has been superb so far this year. I've loved him as a player ever since he hit the game winner against the Heatles in his rookie year. This is the game I started thinking he might be something special: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6HDP3OlVJY&ab_channel=NBAMacedonia

Warriors played JFK, Mooses, Chiozza and Downtin in the G-League game.
Are we guessing at least a few of them suit up in case there’s an emergency or garbage time?
Final lines from the G League in the SC Warriors 110-87 victory over Ignite:
Moody: 32 min, 16 pts, 5-12, 2-5 3pt, 2-2 FT, 7 Reb, 1 Ast, 1 Stl, 1 TO, 3 BS +5
Kuminga: 30 min, 16 pts, 4-5, 2-2 3pt, 3-3 FT, 4 Reb, 2 Ast, 5 PF, 6 TO, 2 BS -1
I may not be around for it, but just scheduled the game thread for 6:30.
If you regulars can help move the party there once it opens, that would be dope. Thanks! See you in there!

Regarding the Ruggs incident - let's not forget that Draymond dodged a somewhat similar bullet a few years ago. (From the former site: https://www.goldenstateofmind.com/2016/3/24/11300860/draymond-greens-life-in-the-fast-lane)

Nice article on nba . com about the return of Igoudala

Looks like Dray's kid is also having trouble with the new ball...
Glad Warriors are back tonight. As a football fan it was deflating to hear about Rugg's incident yesterday.
Let's play the box defense against Oubre tonight
