I'll be looking at former Warriors (hello, Philly, Miami, and even LAL!) and possible future Warriors (Milwaukee? nah, more likely Indiana) to see what this season portends for next. But I'm also academically curious what the league will be like in these difficult times. The championship picture was already wide open with the season where it was when it paused; I can't imagine that changing to this weird post-apocalyptic format adds any certainty to the affair.

Milwaukee probably has the best chance of making it to the finals at least, though we can't rule out Boston, Philly, up-and-comer Miami, or even a Toronto repeat appearance. On the West side, Los Angeles of course has two(!!) of the teams with the best chance of taking it. Beyond that it's a bunch of dark horses like Denver, Utah, and Houston (small ball only!), darker horses like Portland (injuries recovered!) and OKC (wtf) plus a veritable boat load of hangers-on who are just there to play: San Antonio (no Aldridge!), Memphis (Ja Morant fighting for rookie of the year), New Orleans (maybe no Zion??) etc.
