I really enjoy seeing the Rockets suffer another elimination, especially this year. This is their best chance to get that title without the Dubs and they know it. This one will more than hurt them. It might cause an implosion because they know the Dubs will be back next year.
This Lakers team would have given a Durant-less Warriors team a hard time as well. Small ball only works well so long as you can minimize the damage with the size disadvantage at the other end, but that seems difficult against this Lakers team. I'm rooting for Denver to beat both LA teams.
Houston seems built to compete against the Warriors, not the size and strength of the Lakers. They failed miserably and made Lebron & Cie look like world beaters.
Wooo weeee, were the Rockets in a tough spot moving forward. Capped out roster that just pretty clearly isnt going to work in the playoffs. Bet they'd love to call takesies backsies and get CP3 back and those draft picks.
Kudos to Lebron and the Lakers, looking extremely tough
Either the Lakers are better than I thought or the Rockets just ran out of gas (again). Maybe Morey will blame the loss on House's absence. Harden wasn't bad tonight but Russ was (4-13 from the field, 0-3 from threes, 2-6 from the line). Another year, and no ring for Harden, Westbrook, and CP3. I'm sure there are some salty tears being shed here and there.
I'm for sure in the Miami camp this year. As much as I would love to see one, if not both, of the LA teams to be upset I think an LA series will be a lot of fun. No love lost for the Raptors here.
Looking forward to a Miami championship this year. That'll give Andre 1 more ring than either LeBron or McCaw :) And maybe Andre can find a way back to the Bay for a final ring with the Warriors in '21. That might open up a few HOF doors for him.
The Champs go down: McCaw, Raptors unable to stay on top of the NBA; Clippers stumble late to Nuggets

Halfway through the 1st quarter, is it too early to call this game over?
Lebron fully dominating
