There's a move that Doncic does at ~1:20 where he hesitates, takes a step back and then crosses over that's just filthy... it's a filthy, dirty carry that is just ridiculous. If that is a legal move, then we might as well call it a different sport. WTF are we doing out here.
Thank you! I have been feeling a bit despondent about our last 2 losses (not just the L but the bad basketball - long breaks are good for the team right now, but if we lost the one before the break, it's tough on the soul).
This doesn't fix it but a moment of BB joy should help get me to game time.

Reason why I am so down on the FO for forcing KLAY PREMATURELY out for a miserly 3rd year on his contract. UNDERAPPRECIATED what we had this ERA; worse, that miscalculation denied us having KLAY AND BUTLER for 2.5 YEARS (as DUNLEAVY, to his great credit, had the inside track to JIMMY), and draw down the DYNASTY ERA CONTENDING to the end of 3 HOF CORE CAREERS of STEPH/KLAY/DRAY.
Also the reason why I have been passionate about seizing the OPPORTUNITY presented by the MAVS' implosion, BY REACHING OUT to underutilized/frustrated KLAY, and doing everything we MUST in an effort to GET KLAY BACK! Easiest/quickest way to get back to CONTENTION the next 2 seasons, and provide the BEST transition PLATFORM to the NEXT ERA.
STEPH is the best ambassador to help DUNLEAVY/FO DO THAT.
You never get a 2d opportunity to finish out a DYNASTIC ERA as NO ONE has done before!
Quick check on the preliminary Draft Tourney candidates…
* Darrion Williams hit every big shot in the Texas Tech game and may be playing himself into the first round. Toppin and Brazile had big shots and may be playing themselves into the second round.
* Sion James had an ultra efficient 16 in the Duke game. Tyrese Proctor was off.
* Folk hero Walter Clayton Jr had a decent game in an easy Florida win. Alijah Martin had a similar decent game.
Feels like you do such a good job of identifying talent that anyone we think we're gonna get or is commonly mocked to us in February, shoots up the player rankings in March and is taken before our pick in the Draft. From Scottie Barnes to Lively to even Jaquez Jr. (though that worked out ok as we got Podz) plus so many second rounders you identified that I can't remember all of them, who that shot up to the top of the 2nd or even low 1sts.
Anyway, I've stopped hoping for guys you talk about in Feb/early March :D
Haha, I appreciate the (unjustified) hype but it’s true that I don’t write up the Draft Tourney for real until later exactly because we’d be in this weird state of having players we really like and hoping they don’t do well publicly
Just watched the ending of that Lakers/Bulls game and it reminded me a lot of our most recent loss in Utah. Yeah there were some Lakers mistakes like that Lebron turnover but the Bulls were hitting everything
Hate to say it (or do it) but pulling for the Lakers in this one since we'd have the tiebreaker against Grizz if we win our game against them while Lakers hold the tiebreaker against us no matter what. I can rationalize pulling for the Lakers when reminded of Taylor Jenkins pacing the sidelines for the Grizz.
The 4 seed is unlikely but still in play. Anywhere 4-8 is totally possible at this point but I think we need to go 8-2 to avoid the play in (and one of those 8 needs to be the last game against the clips)
Bulls have won 9 out of their last 11 games. They beat the Magic, Heat, Pacers, Nets, Jazz, Kings, Lakers (x2), and Nuggets, and lost to the Rockets and the Suns during that span.
OK, folks, you might want to catch the last 12 seconds of the Lakers-Chicago game. Chicago was down 5 or 6 with 12 seconds left and no timeouts and won in regulation.
They had no business winning that game. Down 16 to start the 14th, down 5 with 12 seconds left, down 1 with 3 seconds after giving up an apparent game winner to Reeves, then somehow Giddey calmly swishes a half-court shot over LeBron as time expires. Unreal.

And I sure hope JJ had no timeouts left.....
OMG they did have a timeout left!!
GREAT STUFF! Well-done!

Klay chose to leave, and for less money at that. Warriors stated they wanted him back. Decision was Klay's to take a bigger contract early on in FA.
Has there been any indication that Klay had a change of mind/heart? Any trade to bring him back wouldn't work for the rest of this season anyway.
No sugar...

Candidate for greatest final 12 seconds of a game in NBA history.
Commentator channeling Fred Sanford was glorious.
Really enjoying watching the Bulls wrecking Warrior foes this month.
Hard to believe Giddey has the 2nd most triple doubles in a season in Bulls History???
Thanks for highlighting this. Found it on YouTube and watched that last 5+ minutes. Fantastic.
I was wondering what the hell the commentators were screaming "Elizabeth" for?
Now I looked up Fred Sanford and got some idea. thanks for being a "connector" @klaymation.
Old man LeBron and steph have similar fates for the rest of the season and playoffs.
If healthy, they are monsters to contend with still. Really questionable if they can sustain it throughout the playoffs. Gonna be a huge storyline.
Regarding the warriors, it is what it is. Dubs have a shot to make some noise and that's all you can ask for.
Just watched the ending of that Lakers/Bulls game and it reminded me a lot of our most recent loss in Utah. Yeah there were some Lakers mistakes like that Lebron turnover but the Bulls were hitting everything
Last 10 seconds of the Bulls vs. Lakers game, Bulls commentators

I don’t normally hate too much on Fitz, but this made me extremely jealous. Imagine if that had been the play-by-play voice of Steph Curry’s career.
Hahahaha
Not gonna say I enjoy seeing sad Lakers fans, but this clip is so great

Well, okay, maybe I do enjoy that
WTF is wrong with you? Why would you ever pretend not to enjoy seeing sad Lakers fans?!?!
Lakers vs Memphis next game and they are all tied up in the standings.

Completely rational, but I /never/ root for the Lakers. Not ever. Can't.
Well if the Warriors can win tomorrow, they'll be just 1 game back in the loss column of one of them.
With 1 head to head remaining
NBA injury report for tomorrow: https://ak-static.cms.nba.com/referee/injury/Injury-Report_2025-03-27_10PM.pdf
No GP2 for the Warriors. Curry is questionable.
Murray, Jones, and Murphy III have already been ruled out for the season for the Pels. Zion, McCollum, and Boston will not play tomorrow.
No excuse to come out flat after the Denver fiasco. Dubs could really use an easy one with extended garbage time.
I'd settle for a WIN. Please.
The 4 seed is unlikely but still in play. Anywhere 4-8 is totally possible at this point but I think we need to go 8-2 to avoid the play in (and one of those 8 needs to be the last game against the clips)
FWIW, at playoff-status, 8-2 basically guarantees it, 7-3 gives a 92% chance of avoiding it. Obviously that Clippers game could be massive.
That assumes the Clippers aren't just awesome... of course, if the Lakers and Grizzlies stumble, that helps too...
And currently, the Clips are something like 8-2 over their last 10...
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single win over the Pelicans.
Hopefully, tomorrow night, we can say: "so long, and thanks for all the fish."
If we go 10-0 the rest of the way and the Grizz lose one more game than the one to the Dubs, we're guaranteed no worse than 5th. Piece of cake, right?
lol
Lakers lost. Lol. What.
Bulls have won 9 out of their last 11 games. They beat the Magic, Heat, Pacers, Nets, Jazz, Kings, Lakers (x2), and Nuggets, and lost to the Rockets and the Suns during that span.
Bulls are fun to watch
Holy hell. I saw they were down 18 in the 2nd half and thought it was wraps
Looking at the play by play and that last 20 seconds must have been insane lol
OK, folks, you might want to catch the last 12 seconds of the Lakers-Chicago game. Chicago was down 5 or 6 with 12 seconds left and no timeouts and won in regulation.
More like the last 5:30 or so. They're down 13, and the Lakers aren't lying down, yet somehow, the Bulls pull it out. Unreal.
The whole last minute or so was crazy. I mean, the Dubs have had some bad losses this year, but the Lakers have topped all of them
They had no business winning that game. Down 16 to start the 14th, down 5 with 12 seconds left, down 1 with 3 seconds after giving up an apparent game winner to Reeves, then somehow Giddey calmly swishes a half-court shot over LeBron as time expires. Unreal.
Plus Giddey steals the inbound pass and White sinks the bucket to get it to 1. That was one of the wildest basketball sequences I've ever seen.
Yep. LeBron made a boneheaded casual inbounds pass but credit to Giddey for the steal and heads-up pass to White. Amazing stuff.
In MJs house. Jordan would never.
Giddey half court 3 is good! Bulls beat the Lakers 119-117!
That was insane!
Thunder beat the Grizzlies 125-104
WTF Bulls. Get your act together.
That didn't age well :)
It was a call to action, and it worked. It aged perfectly, and should be framed.
