Jazz is 2-5 in the last 7 games. They beat the Sun and the Blazers, but they lost to the Wizards, 76ers, Knicks, Clippers, and the Pistons. They have a back-to-back on Friday and Saturday (@Warriors, @Suns).

So, I hope Kerr gets on the kids about actually running offense. They were just passing the ball around the perimeter chucking... let that be Kuminga's job, imo. Give him a leadership role to show him the value of being engaged even when it's not "meaningful", and let him focus on seeing the floor and practice how the team's supposed to be working.

I'd always kind of liked JaMychal Green so I was low key happy about us signing him, but I think I am done with him. I mean he's still clearly an NBA level player, but he just doesn't seem to quite get the W's system so he causes small problems when he's on the floor and his 3-point shot is not coming around. Not sure what Bob could do about it even if he agreed with me, but that's how I feel.

So…what are we doing with Lamb’s two-way? At this rate he’s going to exhaust his eligibility before the All-Star break…

Excellent Athletic article on the new second unit (led by Dray and Wiggs, with DDV, Poole and Lamb).

https://theathletic.com/3930238/2022/11/24/draymond-green-leading-warriors-second-unit

Bottom line - a second unit that played Kerr-ball and gained points, instead of losing them. Kerr and Dray both think this is a formula that could be successful. Andre plugs in whenever he is able to play. And Moody and Kuminga can also swap in for DDV and Lamb and get some decent opportunities. I like it!

Edit: oh, EA E1P’d this group. Nice!

For all the complaining about Poole, I see that Dennis Schroder put up a 0/0/1 p/r/a line against Suns in 20 minutes of work but I guess the low rebound total is partly due to AD grabbing 21 of them. I'm thinking the Warriors should offer the Lakers Green, Wiseman, and their next couple of 1sts for AD.

The Warriors do it because

1) It solves the Wiseman problem and Green contract situation

2) AD's contract lines up with Curry's and Thompson's (Player option for 24-25)

3) The picks won't be good

They don't do it because

1) They lose the Curry, Green, Thompson synergy

2) It's AD, how many games will he miss?

3) It puts them firmly i the $500m in payroll range for the next 2 years

The Lakers do it because they are in the post-LeBron rebuild phase, Wiseman still might turn out to be a good player, Green will have an enormous chip on his shoulder and even poor picks are better than no picks. They don't do it because they could get good picks from a team like the Thunder who can't possibly get better use out of all the picks they have.

I almost feel like Kerr played the Poole donte kuminga jmg wiseman lineup purposely to start the season so we could get wiseman out the way quick lol there’s just no way the lineups he played last night weren’t the logical choice off rip

From AP: “Early in the fourth, Green drove the length of the floor and into the pain then dished off to Anthony Lamb for a layup that made it 103-82 with 10:41 to play. Green finished with 12 assists, nine points and seven rebounds.”

Is this like A Princess Bride?

Only 3 games behind first place in the West. Even with their terrible start they're not even that far out of where they need to be.

Great to have one to celebrate. The Ws definitely looked and performed better with Dray directing the 2nd unit. Maybe they've found something.

We all appreciate Duby’s view,

But that final lineup should trouble you,

They might be the Warriors,

But let’s call them “arriors”,

‘Cause these guys couldn’t sniff a W

Crazy stat of the night. This was the 16th game in a row the Dubs shot fewer FTs than their opponent. Over that stretch, they shoot 10 fewer FTs per game.

That final lineup: Rollins 20, Moody 20, Kuminga 20, Baldwin 20, Lamb 25.

I can’t recall a younger Warriors lineup…youngest ever?
