Thankful for some home cookin' - Warriors trounce Clippers
Even against a short-handed Los Angeles team, Golden State still had to work for the win
The Golden State Warriors continue their strong showings within the comfort of Chase, blasting the banged up Clippers 124-107 and continuing to build up an impressive record at home.
As has been the case, it was the Warriors core that led the charge - proving that maybe it doesn’t matter if you entirely fix what ails the bench or not. One major rotation change from coach Steve Kerr was unveiled tonight: moving Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green’s minutes over to support a more mixed bench unit substitution pattern.
Wiggins was phenomenal, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic:
31 points on 12/18 FG and 6/10 from 3. He's now shooting 50.6 percent overall this season and 43.4 percent from 3. Career-high in both.
This was a fun win, and a great way to enter one of my favorite holidays. Stay happy, Dub Nation!
Happy Thanksgiving DNHQ Community!!
Jazz is 2-5 in the last 7 games. They beat the Sun and the Blazers, but they lost to the Wizards, 76ers, Knicks, Clippers, and the Pistons. They have a back-to-back on Friday and Saturday (@Warriors, @Suns).
