Last summer league game
GSW SL actually won. Of course, UTA rested a bunch of its draft picks. I guess if you spend years trying to lose and rip people off, it’s a hard habit to break.
Summer League Warriors
Summer League is starting with the California Classic at Chase Center.
We have a comprehensive guide to the Warriors roster here:

Opponents
Here are come brief notes on the opposing team, a team based somewhere near Jimmy Butler’s old house.
GG Jackson PF
2023 #45
As a third year player, he should dominate despite his youth.
[[ I'm most excited to see the 20-year-old Jackson, still the youngest player on the Grizzlies' roster by a wide margin, after he played 29 games in his second NBA campaign due to injury. Both Jackson and Wells had 20 points each in Saturday's debut. ]] -- Pelton
Cedric Coward Guard
2025 #11
ESPN: The Grizzlies likely won't have No. 11 pick Cedric Coward, who is doubtful to play while continuing to rehab December shoulder surgery, per Drew Hill of the Daily Memphian.
Cam Spencer, Guard
2024 #53
Brother of Pat Spencer
Played 252 MIN for MEM last year.
Jaylen Wells, Guard
2024, #39
Sonoma State product
Finished 3rd in Rookie of the Year voting so there’s a good chance he won’t be playing at all in Summer League
More importantly, finished #9 in the 2024 Draft Tourney
Zyon Pullin Guard
Two-Way contract
scouted in our 2024 Draft Tourney
Javon Small Guard
Jahmai Mashack Guard
2025 #59
The road not travelled. GSW traded his rights to MEM for #56 Will Richard.
Not bad win from the SL GSW. MEM has a bunch of experienced NBA players on it.
Richards. Good game. He was silky smooth on a couple of catch and shoots and he took over the middle of the 4th with a series of scores and good defensive plays.
Toohey. Toohey has prove he’s ready for the G-League (vs needing more seasoning in the ABL a la Jessup). He does seem to have adjusted some to the pace and physicality. But he can’t get any advantage on-ball. A couple of very nice passes. GG Jackson made him look bad on a couple of plays, but GGJ is an athletic 3rd yr player so he’s supposed to do that.
Rowe. Was fine. Coughed up the ball a couple of times unnecessarily.
Hawkins. Grasped tightly the mantle of Summer God of Chaos. The ur-play was him hustling hard to get back into the play on defense, tried to swipe the ball from behind, misses, slips and slides halfway across the court, almost taking out another Warrior, his man hits the open 3. Some good passes, a chaotic travel…
Manon. He’s more than caught up with the NBA speed. He’s imposing his nonstop energy on the game. He got pretty wild in Q4 and I don’t trust his ballhandling.
Shackleford. A good player trying to heat check his way out of the G-League.
Cryer. He settles the team, he looks not overmatched on defense.
Bolden. Starting to look a bit more himself post-injury. A spectacular block. Had some steady rebounds.
Happy Larry Ellison Doesn't Buy GSW Day, for those who celebrate.
