The 2015 playoff run definitely feels more dominant retroactively. Of the first round games, only the 4th was a blowout. Dubs were down 1-2 to Memphis before figuring it out. Houston came in with Harden as the "Player's MVP" (note: players should never pick MVP) and Dwight Howard before he was a punch line before Steph came out on fire in Game 3 and personally destroyed them. Then they were down 1-2 in the Finals before figuring out Cleveland. And yet, none of the series went the full seven games. "Great teams win close games" has circularity to its logic, but it really is true more often than not. The end seems inevitable because we know it happened.

Game four of this series was easily Steph's best game of the series and the Warriors did win in a blowout victory, which I think kinda set the tone for how the rest of the playoffs would be perceived after the fact.

Yes! I am so glad they won! I was getting nervous reading there at the end of the third.

You were correct, this future generation of myself thought this series was an end to end blow out. Funny how memories can change.
