I think he is a 12-15mpg hustle guy who should give above-average 3pt shooting at good volume with meh defense but good rebounding.

I don't think he's good enough to be counted as the 1st wing off the bench, but still good enough to see regular playing time.

Like GhostRidingTheInjuryCart said though, I find it a little hard to project FA and the future of our guys until we see how the draft shakes out. Things will really fall in place once that is sorted.

I like Lee's energy and effort is perfect for the regular season, and he could be very useful in some playoff situations off the bench.

I think it depends on how the Warriors view this draft. If Edwards is the pick (unlikely in my decidedly non-expert opinion), Lee's role is going to be severely diminished, especially since Wiggins is here too now. If the Warriors take Okoro, Lee could still be useful as a offensive spark-plug. And, of course, if non-wings like Okongwu, Wiseman, Haliburton, etc. are picked, the wing pecking order doesn't change. Toppin I see as only occasionally a 3, but mostly a 4, so not really a threat to playing time in that sense, but if Kerr sometimes wants a splashbros-dray-toppin-chriss lineup, then Wiggins would eat Lee's bench minutes (although I suspect that Toppin and Wiggins would be a dynamic duo on offense).

Actually, for Lee personally (and of course the fans and the team), trading the kitchen sink for Giannis would be the scenario, as depth would be reduced. Unfortunately for Lee, his playing time could change at any time, since a signing like Burks in the off season or a mid-season trade or buyout could change the team structure a lot very quickly. Either way, I hope (and don't doubt) that he'll be on the team next year.

Also, I love that camaraderie that Paschall/Lee/Poole showed each other. Chemistry is important, especially in this shitty season we've been having.

I like him. He can shoot, he attacks closeouts, competes defensively, and grabs rebounds. Can get washed on screens though which is concerning. Plays with a fire though, which is something we need on this team.

I don't know if the Splash Brother-in-Law can be consistent enough off the bench to get in a playoff rotation for the type of team the best version of the '20-'21 Warriors would be. But I do know it would have been nice to have him around in the 2019 Finals, and maybe that speaks for itself. Love that he can really get to the line.

One note I have is that I think he's a better passer than that assist rate might suggest. That one time they spot-started him at PG (the Leap Day win against Phoenix) he had 8 assists (31.3 AST%).

The one thing that Damion Lee has is energy. An abundance of vitality that might be able to catapult him onto the bench where he could come in and do some damage. He must work on getting his shooting smoother and more reliable. He is still inconsistent but he tries damned hard. He's not afraid to take it to the rim but he lacks the power to play against bigger defenders. He needs to polish his game and work on the areas of weakness. He is hungry and if the Warriors don't bring in any players that are scorers, Lee will get his shot right away. He and Chriss both earned a spot as well as Paschall.
