I’ve been the biggest Kerr supporter but I can’t help but think at this stage of a lot of the current players career that they would benefit from a Mark Jackson type coach who would just pump them up and make them believe they belong in this league With that said I would never want him back but I still don’t understand why a team like the Knicks won’t give him a shot
Way OT, but I wonder how many teams are going to give Westbrook the psuedo-Tony Allen treatment going forward, especially in a series. I know RW scored a lot (35?) vs Utah, but forcing mid-range and 3's should be statistically advantageous, even wide-open:
We have heard from Substack that they may soon give us reverse chronological comment order, so newest ones appear at the top. The reply box remains at the top. I'm pausing work on my bookmarklet until the changes come in. I begged them to have it ready by Steph Sunday, but who knows it might come earlier.
I'll be at the game tonight, so I'm hoping more guys play and the Dubs get the win!
I'm not at all confident, but it should be doable. The Kangz are worse than some teams we have beaten this season. (Though, if Dray, Wiggins, and Chriss are all out that sure doesn't bode well...)
Looks like Wiggins is in (not listed on the injury report at all as of this morning)

> Draymond Green and Marquese Chriss still listed questionable for tonight's game as of this morning's NBA Injury Report. If they can't suit up, they will only have 8 players available with Smailagić away with Santa Cruz.

The Cavs winning yesterday (2-1 under new coach) gave the dubs a 4-game 'lead' in the tank-off. The Wolves actually are out-tanking us (2-8 vs 1-9) in the last 10 games, though, so with only a 4.5 game difference, there might be a tank tug-of-war still to come:
It would be nice to get a win (if a bit ironic to finally get a win the one time Wiggins is in street clothes). I wonder when Simmons is joining the big squad. If can still play solid defense, he might even be a useful piece for next year. The more I look at the draft, the worse it looks on offense, but if the Warriors can clinch the best/worst seed, there are at least 4 non-top-4 players that could be above-average defenders (some of which we could get in a trade-down): Okoro, Halibuton, Jahmi'us Ramsey, Okongwu. So if there aren't any blockbuster trades, the Warriors 'only' get the #5 pick., and no team wants to enter the top 5, it still probably wouldn't be terrible (just maybe a reach for a few of those players).
I think I am almost ready to shelf the tank. We are at this point just looking at percentages and I think with getting Steph back and evaluating all the pieces I would love to see this team roll off a small win streak. I think some positive vibes would help more long term then leading the charge to the bottom. So I agree it would be nice to get a win.
I appreciate the insight into possible draft prospects, I honestly only know a little, though I do like the thought of Deni Avdija. But I admit that is basically just me playing darts blindfolded.
I’m sold on Wiseman at this point saying he’s a more skilled KD and the thought of curry and Thompson draining threes and Curry throwing lobs to Marquises and Wiseman makes me Salivate
Just think how much fun it'll be next year trying to make a deep run in the playoff AND hopefully watching one of our draft picks shoot up the board (in a much better draft).
That Minnie pick...I'm excited about that almost as much as this year, which is kind of a bargain-bin year from what everybody has said.
Who knows, though, right? We could draft #1 and bust or #4 and have an unheralded monster out of the gate. Hell, we could get a monster at #7 or 8 next year, too. We're unlikely to smash both out of the park, sure, but you gotta love that we have good picks again.
Yeah, it'll be nice to win some games again. I want to lose as much as possible for the next few games, build up a tanking 'lead,' then enjoy the rest of season (and hopefully have our cake - the top/bottom seed - too). The second coming of Threezus is almost upon us though, so the fun will definitely be back soon, at least in small doses.
yeah same, I'll take as wide of a margin as possible.
We only have 4 or 4.5 games on the fourth worst team (remember that the three worst get equal odds for pick position). If Steph plays 20 games or so, it wouldn't be all that hard to fly up the ranking a bit too much.
Thing is we have a brutal schedule for the rest of the year, so if we fly up the ranking it's because we're crushing playoff teams competing for seeding. I definitely wouldn't mind that going into the offseason.
Considering the new way the odds are done, I keep thinking that none of this matters much. We'll be in the lottery, likely in the early picks. Beyond that, it's a crapshoot.
BArnes post move improved since we got him! Bazemore handling are much tighter now!

At least the refs are finally giving us some love to start the quarter
Dang, H Barnes really blowing up the Dubs, especially Bender, off the dribble. That first step is looking a lot faster than it used to.
Did you all notice the comments are strictly REVERSE CHRONO???? Try it out in the game thread that Daniel‘s opening in a few minutes.

Either way, the Warriors won't be one of the guinea pigs this year, and teams should be finding counters by next season at the latest.
2 good games on TNT tonight (Zion vs Lakers after this one)
Off topic, but I really hate that the Warriors gave up so quickly on Chris Boucher.
It was a different time, then...

You guys are awesome, and please pass on our appreciation to them!
No Draymond, but Chriss will play tonight

> Draymond Green has been downgraded to out for tonight's game. Marquese Chriss has been upgraded to probable per NBA Injury Report.
> Warriors will most likely take the court with 9 players.
I guess Dubs are shutting down Dray till Steph is back Sunday. We winning some games starting Sunday would be nice change.

Going on record so that I can be embarrassed later:
yes:
- Haliburton
- Okongwu
- Toppin
- Wiseman
no:
- Avdija
- Edwards
- Ball
- Okoro
- Everyone else

Tru tru like .... has any team ever had that luxury?
That does sound beautiful!
